I don't think there's any compulsion for bitcoin and everyone is free to enter or not, and I think with the advancement of technology and the difficulty of making money, a lot of people will try and get into bitcoin in the hope that they can make some money.

You are absolutely right, since in many countries with economic problems people do not find a job that guarantees their food or their family, I think that third world countries are the most likely to enter due to the need, of According to their level of infallibility, it is possible for the most needy people to enter looking for jobs that can pay them in BTC and thus beat the local economy in which they live and thus have more opportunity to have a better life. The most common case is Venezuela, where many people are in great need, and it is incredible, but according to localbitcoins.com it has been one of the countries with the highest demand for BTC in the world.

Soon Bitcoin would not be news or in the news as much as it is today. No, it will not be banned but rather there's it would have garnered so much support and acceptance worldwide. The rich, the poor, the upper-class, the middle class, school kids in kindergarten, the mayors of cities, Presidents, Priests and Clergymen, Imams, and Rabbi would own a satoshi no matter how small. My confidence and hope in this belief grow exponentially every day because the world is moving towards the consciousness and reality of cryptocurrencies. It’s damn hard to ignore. Everyone is talking about Bitcoin on the tv, newspapers, radio stations, the coffee shop, the grocery shop, religious places of worship, strip clubs, casinos, in the North pole, Antarctica, Sahara Desert, the Atlantic Ocean, and everywhere one turn towards. In the end, we’re going to have two types of people. The first type of people will be those who got on the Bitcoin train voluntarily. And those who were “forced” because they had no other choice.  At this time, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not going to be a big deal anymore. No one will care about whales and sharks manipulating the market prices because there will be sophisticated systems put in place that serve as buffers.  It’s going to be like having a dollar or your local currency. Everyone will have it no matter how little.
Why I can or will say yes to this is because, as time goes on, most of the youths that are mainly into bitcoin now and the newer generation that will come after will be the ones calling the shots and most of the ones opposing Bitcoin now, well we know what that is. So in the nearest future, we will be seeing more Bitcoin adoption because of the present generation regardless of profession and religion, creed color, or location.

everything is based on demands indeed Cheesy But the difficulty of getting money is depending on our desire and willingness to look for bitcoin is one option to make us at least get something more from there.
but that doesn't mean we have to stand idly by to bitcoin, it's not something that is right because we have to be aware that in the market and in bitcoin there are not only prices that continue to rise but there are also corrections and declines.
when indeed you can be there for a long time maybe it can be used as a good reference, but if you just follow in the footsteps of others then the results will not be too good

people are now getting into bitcoin more and more , there are millions of users now and still getting bigger as years passes by.

Bitcoin will be the tools for transaction in majority sooner .

bitcoin will be in the spotlight in the next few weeks as many investors have closed the old books and now a new chapter of investment for the new period of 2022 has begun. Bitcoin is giving a good signal at the moment although bitcoin still looks bleak in a bear market.
Spotlight?

lol Bitcoin is already a spotlight  for many years here in crypto world and never that it was taken from this.

I have a feeling that some people trap themselves in a bubble and heavily project what they read about every day as being the reality for everyone else. In my experience crypto is currently talked about very rarely and there is a lot of bad publicity circulating about it right now. It's very curious that you mention so many religious figures in your spiel, because theoretically they should be the least interested group of people in pursuing financial instruments. Like it or not, a vast majority of the world is happy with the status quo and while cryptocurrency offers certain useful abilities (like sending money across borders), most day to day transactions can already be performed much more quickly and efficiently with existing tools.

This reminds me of the President of  El Salvador's prediction about more countries to legalize Bitcoin though I don't if he's already in talk with the countries President or not but I believe all his statements and the OP are words of optimism. Meanwhile, we also need to be realistic though Bitcoin will gain more awareness, integration, and support from the government but not as much as we think.
Who will listen to him? other president has their own stand and if there is some president that they will going to listen then that would be the superpower countries stand towards bitcoin and not just a low economy country like EL Salvador .
You make a point. However, I am not talking about some country government or President listening to him but I am talking about the President of some countries who are scared of legalizing Bitcoin going to him for tips and seeing the revenue of the country after they acknowledge Bitcoin as currency.
I believe this is what happen when he predicted more countries to legalize Bitcoin.

Like what i mentioned who will listen to him or even ask for Tips from Him when they are not considering Bitcoin as a beneficial for their people ?

tbh, a lot of presidents and government officials already know Bitcoin can work magic but they don't like the aspect of it being decentralized and not controlled by them because they think it can backfire in the future. Besides, if IMF can advise about joining the crypto space some years ago and also make a statement that Bitcoin has got to a mature stage it means they have already had enough talk with the government.

and why would they ask for a small country president when they are much bigger and their voices is much appreciated by the world compared to EL Salvador president?
A small can have big ambition and understanding of innovative technology than a big country. However, big countries have a lot of powerful people who always abuse or manipulate the system.

what i mean here is that No way that His world is worth to trust in making significant movement for the crypto market because look after weeks of His delivering , Bitcoin price drops more than what we are looking to increase .
If follow crypto news you'll understand that there are other issues that influence the downtrend of Bitcoin and during the dip, he also accumulates more BTC.

I cannot agree with you more.... I can use a good example :

Many years ago when Dos was still the Operating system of choice, we introduced Pegasus Mail to the people at work and they resisted, saying that telephones and faxes was the only technology that was needed. Now many years after that, people have several choices of webmail and desktop mail and they cannot live without it.

What has changes? Well, people found that email was better than telephones & faxes and the software developers started to develop what the people needed. Now, people can still use Bitcoin.. but there are 1000's of Alt coins for them to choose from.  Wink

Give people something better to use and they will shift to the new technology over time, but make sure that you stay ahead of the inevitable competition that will come.  Wink

Cryptocurrencies are becoming more and more popular especially bitcoin which continues to appear every day on the leading edge of the news. Everyone knows about bitcoin, but few know what bitcoin is and what it is used for. In fact, there are still many who argue that bitcoin is an illegal digital currency and Ponzi.
Bitcoin continues to grow, everyone owns bitcoin and other altcoins. The digital world is increasingly known for bitcoin. Digital investment is profitable if done right. being forced or continuing to get into bitcoin is a good experience and will change the way people think about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

I think people would never force to use Bitcoin. Some users use Bitcoin because of their valuable concept. Another cryptocurrencies also used by many users. Isn't it?

because indeed bitcoin will still be bitcoin as for speaking with the spotlight, I think from the start they have done that whether it's the spotlight in a positive or negative direction. they have done it.
for now, in 2022, I think they will continue to do it, especially with adoption that is getting stronger and stronger, it is not impossible that things like this will continue

Yes, we are in the process of a global "bitcoinization," but this takes time. It will be interesting to see if, as President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador predicts, other countries will make it legal tender in 2022. If another country announces it will make it legal tender, it will be highly bullish. Perhaps the world is waiting to see how El Salvador fares with its grand experiment.

In the early days of bitcoin, people kept saying it's a scam. Now those same people are rushing to buy.
They say it's a scam because they do not search for more about bitcoin and the bitcoin investment instead just follow the instruction to send their money to the scammers.
People do not use their best time to buy bitcoin at a low price that has already happened before and decide to buy it when the price increases.
Well, that is their choice and we have our own choice which we will know what we need to do related to the current situations.
If you just follow what they did, you will screw it yourself because you do not search when to enter the market.
Many people can speculate about what happened to bitcoin but they do not know what real thing will happen to bitcoin.
There are still those people who hate bitcoin before and up to the present, they remain to be anti bitcoin. And those are the persons who keep speculating that bitcoin will only shut down in the end. But of course, we know the truth so we should just ignore them and continue on our own bitcoin journey.

I can see that bitcoin has definitely a bright future ahead but let's admit it, bitcoin will not be easily adopted globally as its highly volatile and people will surely be confuse if bitcoin will always fluctuate its value. So more likely, it will only be good as an alternative to fiat and i think its main goal is to serve as a currency but not to exceed fiat or making it extinct.
Those people will remain like that without we can change their minds because they do not want to see a new thing that could change their lives.
We do not have to care about them and let them decide and when they see what we can get from bitcoin, they will open their eyes and minds and see that we do not tell a fake and hopefully, they will realize that they are wrong.
Bitcoin still has a bright future, although bitcoin is not easy to be adopted globally and soon after those people see the benefits of bitcoin to them, they will come to bitcoin and start investing in bitcoin.
Let the time will answer that and we must still focus on what we did to accumulate more bitcoin in many ways.

I never even felt that it was such a big deal. regarding the popes I agree with what you say because this in my opinion depends on how your finances are. there is no prohibition here we are free to do whatever we want.
when I have a lot of money I also want to do like them because I can afford it but indeed for now when we can't be them, at least we have to have it even if it's a little.
it doesn't matter whether these whales hoard or not because that's their right and we don't have the authority to regulate it
Bitcoin is intended for those people who understand and value it, but they are also free not to use it since its all about freedom when it comes to bitcoin. I guess even if the government continue to ban bitcoin, there's no stopping it anymore as more people now are already aware about crypto particularly with bitcoin and many are already taking their advantage to invest in it and some are even using it already in countries where bitcoin is used as a means of payment. The world is already heading into crypto, but some are still denial about it.
indeed that would be very true and as you said, no one would even be able to hold bitcoins even if it was the government.
but on the other hand, with recognition from both people and the government, if there are regulations that are quite profitable for bitcoin, I think it will be much better.
I don't deny that here we are free to do anything whether it's using bitcoin or not because this is everyone's freedom but it would be more interesting if there was more recognition here for bitcoin

Bitcoin has a freedom and everyone knows about it wherein since from the beginning that a lot of people already have proofs how they can get benefits from it in a simple way. So no one can ignore bitcoin no matter what negative news it is as long as it's still legit amd can guarantee goof return.. Negative feedback isn't a big deal..let's too good to be true...
Bitcoin is not tied, this benefits us as users. Yes, I think it's one of the fantastic assets for now. I have felt the benefits are very valuable in my opinion. How not, so far bitcoin can be said to affect my life. In the future I see, bitcoin will fly more. And I'm grateful I didn't realize this too late.

In the early days of bitcoin, people kept saying it's a scam. Now those same people are rushing to buy.
That is part of the process , to have opposition so the product will be proven good and better , if there's no dislikes in the past then do you think this market will progress this far?
the negativity of others helps the popularization if this currencies, I must admit that i am one of those who first thought of this to be scam and i have waited years before trusting this.
so what more of us has the same thoughts that now is completely willing to buy and buy for more?

I agree Bitcoin can be popular it started because many doubted Bitcoin and quite a lot thought Bitcoin was a scam. But it raises the curiosity of
many people to learn Bitcoin, to make sure if it's really a Bitcoin scam. It turns out that once we know Bitcoin, negative prejudices about Bitcoin
turn into positive ones, because unexpectedly Bitcoin has many benefits. Now the development of Bitcoin is very fast, even in 2021 to be
the best performing asset. So slowly Bitcoin is not only getting more popular, but more and more people are trusting Bitcoin. I am optimistic that
Bitcoin in the future will be legalized by many countries in the world.

We laugh about those processes but what then ~~
There are things worth looking back on, but there are also things that should be put away, the process and the results will always be with us, and we will feel it in many ways.
I don't too care about how people much thought it was before, but now because life has more things to take care of than problems that we complicate ourselves. So focus on what you're doing, ignore the superfluous things Smiley

Soon Bitcoin would not be news or in the news as much as it is today.

Why can you say that? Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency is everywhere currently where there is less than 50% of world adoption, yet you can see it on the news, sports, and movies.
When you say there will a huge mass adoption in the future, then it's more likely to be seen on the news on a daily basis just like how the dollar is fluctuating today.
However, I'm afraid when that time happens most of us here is either very old to handle our crypto investment or worse dead.
Is partially correct because out of seven (7) continents in world, no of the countries at least one (1) of them refused to adopt new innovations of cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin, Bitcoin mostly is in collaboration with fiat currency, so the competition between bitcoin and fiat in terms of exchanges is what really makes Bitcoin to be obvious to the societies and also carried information circulation of it that contribute immensely to the massive adoption to both urban and rural geographical environment of mankind.

However, I'm afraid when that time happens most of us here is either very old to handle our crypto investment or worse dead.

This is like a normal thing that I’m already expecting would happen in the future. As time goes on there would be more and more people who would start adopting Bitcoin.

Even if you are not making use of it, as time goes on you might start seeing a lot of your friends who are making use of cryptocurrency, and you would feel left out because you’re not making use of it, and at some point you would be forced to also start making use of Bitcoin. So that’s just how it is going to be, and like you have said there would be those who voluntarily accepted it, and there will be those who were kind of forced into making use of it because they saw their friends and families making use of it.

Not going to happen anytime soon. Maybe after few decades, but we can't expect that now. And bitcoin and crypto currencies will always be on the news no matter what. Fiat currencies are mainstream now. Everyone uses them. We still see them on the news regularly. You probably skip the economy and finance updates when reading news. They always talk about how the top fiat currencies are performing. Inflation and all other stuffs. And no "sophisticated" system would be put to stop the whales. If bitcoin becomes a mainstream, the number of whales would eventually disappear and we won't be seeing much manipulation.

It’s not going to be like where everybody in the world are crazy about Bitcoin just because they are seeing their friends are making use of it, or maybe they just like it and they voluntarily decided to start making use of it. No, it’s not going to be that way.

Yes, for sure there would be lots of people who would develop interest and there will also be those who will make use of it because they see their friends making use of it. But, let’s not forget that not everyone can really develop interest just like that.
Yeah, for some people whatever they don’t like, they just don’t like it, or whatever they don’t have interest in, they just don’t have interest in it and no matter what, they still won’t be interested. It’s just like when Forex trade was new and a trend, I had a lot of friends who were into it, but I still never engaged in it no matter what. So that’s just it, but for sure there would be increase in the number of crypto users, but it’s still not going to be everybody that would make use of it.
Well, let's admit it, bitcoin may be the trend one of these days, but definitely not all people will be attached on it. Although it will create a wider scope for its users and investors, but not all people are going to use it and invest in it. Simply because, majority of the people have still high confidence using fiat despite of the high inflation, and using bitcoin would only mean a higher risk and will put them in a more complicated situation. More particularly with the old people, i can see that they are not open to new changes anymore.

Acceptance of Bitcoins World wide is a good thing. It increases the number of stores who are going to accept bitcoins as a form of payment and the number of investors. The more people know about bitcoins the more people want to own them.

If I look at the development, at the moment it may be that the expectation of accepting bitcoin as a payment continues to grow even though it is still limited due to regulation. Maybe in the future there will be other policies, I hope it does not make dead the development of bitcoin and other crypto. In fact I also do not expect great acceptance of Bitcoin as a means of payment. Currently the existing regulations already exist in my country just as an asset has made me happy. But some new issues have also arisen, blocking unregistered outside exchange ip addresses. This issue made my browsing to exchanges limited.
As the growth of bitcoin's adoption has been more visible, its also expected that there will be more strict policies that the government will impose for all those bitcoin users and even secret investors. I guess this is just their way of stopping bitcoin to conquer the whole world, but i guess no matter what they do, bitcoin and other strong cryptos occurrence are now becoming inevitable. I just hope as the world gets more digitalized, the government itself will be more open minded that bitcoin is here to create positive changes and not to replace fiat totally.

God, Why do new posters have to type everything in one bunch. Use paragraphs man. All it takes is the "Enter" key on your keyboard. Also, what is this deal about "Sophisticate systems in place that serve as buffers".

Whales and sharks manipulate markets everywhere. They are also free-market players acting out of their own self-interest. Sure an anonymous, unregulated market does give them a free hand. Despite this, crypto communities have been good at self-policing. The scams and manipulation is continuing to be a problem but if we need centralized actors to solve that, then this whole thing may as well be the same as banks.

When Satoshi created bitcoin, it was meant to be a P2P currency that can lead to free trade among individuals. It has now evolved to be a currency and a form of money by itself. Currency is the lifeblood of international trade and economy and that is the role that Bitcoin can potentially fulfill better than traditional currency. Apart from that, the transparency make it one of the best ways to manage public funds. Like why isn't the UN already using it, I'll never understand.

Bitcoin needs no prophets and prophecies. Its just a system that gives hope for a better future, a more connected and informed mankind which is aware of the importance of privacy and security. That is how it needs to be looked at, rather than some sort of magic pill for all our pains.

The more people know about bitcoins the more people want to own them. Which again means the more people want to be kept up to date. That's why I don't think news about crypto currencies and bitcoins is going to disappear. Newspapers and news shows on TV will have to include bitcoins going forward. The most likely is to just include it into their financial news coverage about stocks and bonds.

It's hard to believe that, put volatility as one of the factors for bitcoins success. I mean as of now most people came to crypto currencies because they want more money in a short time. They can't get with traditional investments, it would take them too long, line in cryptos we could be millionaires in a single night. I feel you bro, and the I wan those dreams to come true but as of this moment it is away from what we are expecting.

Although I believe that indeed this time would come, that Bitcoin won't anymore be a big deal because it becomes a normal alternative currency, I don't think the whales and sharks will be gone by that time. Don't expect that there will be sophisticated systems to be put in place to avoid this. Bitcoin is all about freedom. There may be systems outside the Bitcoin protocol, but in Bitcoin itself, everybody will definitely remain 100% free including how much Bitcoin they want to buy or hoard.

Your story reminds me of my grandmother, before she died, she told me.
The story is this:
One day, you will see that in this world there are no more poor people, everyone in this world is rich, money is in their bodies, when they take it, it is always there.

From that story, remembering me with what you said, is this the moment in which the era that my grandmother told me is taking place and will happen, if so Bitcoin/crypto is the main factor that makes people in this world rich, maybe there is a point where at this time Bitcoin is the center of attention of all circles, no exception as you say.

If that's the case, I hope that in the future Bitcoin/crypto and society will be better than today.

I'm sure most of us could easily think of various other stuff that are accepted worldwide and at the same time, still being mentioned on the news regularly [the same would apply to BTCitcoin in the future].

No one will care about whales and sharks manipulating the market prices because there will be sophisticated systems put in place that serve as buffers.
I don't think it's necessarily going to be something that would act as a buffer, but instead, it'd be the normal effect once everything is mined [at some point in 2140].

"Forced" not in the literal sense of the word but of course if my mates are getting it, I have to get it too. If with a tap of my phone I can make quick payments as opposed to cash or other medium, then I have to get it too.
I think that falls more under the voluntary basis, as opposed to the so-called forced actions.

Bitcoin is Most valuable in in the crypto market.Last 2-3 Years Bitcoin price huge increase and 2021 Bitcoin price more increase.Bitcoin Price break the all record price. Now bitcoin price little dip but i still believe bitcoin price will be more increase in 2022.So Im suggested to You,Buy now more bitcoin and hold long time, i hope you will get profit from it.

I've been investing in Bitcoin for about 5 years, so I really understand how Bitcoin works. So the price drop that is happening now,
doesn't make me doubt one bit about the future of Bitcoin. Especially with Bitcoin's performance in 2021, which, as you said, continues
to break new records. This makes me even more optimistic that Bitcoin will achieve much better results this year. So I'm currently trying
to collect as much Bitcoin as I can, according to my financial capabilities. Because I don't want to regret, when Bitcoin reaches new ATH
I don't have much Bitcoin. So don't waste this opportunity now to buy Bitcoin, because now the price of Bitcoin has dropped quite low.
So we can all make a pretty big profit if this year Bitcoin reaches new ATH.

One thing is right, at one point crypto won't be volatile as it is now. I mean, the reality is that this type of chaotic behavior can only spell downfall for crypto and stabilization is the only way to stay up float. Mass adoption will demand it as it does with everything else. However, when I say mass adoption, I just can't get behind the notion that it will be the end all be all and that everyone will become a crypto fanatic with a crypto or death mentality. I think the truth will lay somewhere far less extreme and more akin to our current economic situation, but with just one more option thrown in the mix.

currently we can say that we are in mass adoption, but we have a big problem: the lack of clear laws about bitcoin make that hundreds of banks and countries still create barriers in many things related to cryptocurrencies, I'm talking about exchanges that still have countries that don't accept or ask for a license knowing that the local law is very demanding which prevents anyone from creating exchange in these countries, casinos related to cryptocurrencies have problems in those countries, stores still do not accept cryptocurrencies, there are countries where they prohibit bitcoin ATM... at last the good laws about bitcoin are still a mirage. but the day we have it all then we will be 100% centralized and dependent on government laws, but at the same time the scammers will not have impunity as they have currently
Dont expect for regulation or something in related or connected with this stuff because we wont really be heading there yet government would most likely on having negative impressions with bitcoin in the end of the day. There might be some places who do made out opposite which is good to look at but we couldnt really avoid the fact that most of them are against with it.
we do need adoption and recognition and let just the community would decide on how things should really proceed on.As long there would be demand and support on Bitcoin itself
Then its really hard to believe that it would die or been replaced anytime soon.

I thought I can see a different prophecy here, but it's just the same as others have seen Bitcoin throughout the years. It will be adopted around the world, it might not be the world currency, but majority of the people are going to known BTC and everyone wanted to get a piece of it and that makes us a early adopter and I will say that we have the privilege to known it and have it for many years. Although it won't be very easy, but still in the next 10 years or so, bitcoin will adoption will grow bigger.

Well I think that anyone who has writing skills, knowledge and some study about what bitcoin means would have been enough to place in the OP: all (*)   Smiley

Where the * means subject to change without notice.

I think that all of us who write on this bitcoin discussion board do it with the heart or the good vibes, without a doubt we wanted something like that but the reason brings us closer to the true discussion and in that sense the true discussion is the one that will lead us to the future good for Bitcoin.

I think the road is long and thorny, that is, nothing easy... but the simple fact that bitcoin in its short existence it has managed to get, legal tender, valuable asset, million-dollar institutional investments and that it is an option of value for anyone, etc. it is not prophecy, it is a fact.

I can only imagine everyone using bitcoin in a scenario where a central authority forces or heavily endorses its usage. For now it won't happen because many of those authorities have a negative stance regards bitcoin, what means people under their influence range aren't going to adopt the digital currency. I believe the majority of the population on this planet are composed by sheep who can't think or decide by themselves, while bitcoin adopters represent a tiny percentage who go against the tide, so we can't really measure the whole situation in order to make a prediction taking only bitcoin enthusiasts as example.

There is no prophecy imo, it is just a better store-of-value. As an evolutive species we're very likely to adopt a superior tool to store our wealth and that's Bitcoin. It doesn't need to be more complicated than this. We are already seeing:
  • hedge and pension funds allocating percentages there
  • countries adopting it as legal tender (i.e. El Salvador)
  • halving is approaching Wink

A satoshi for every imam and rabbi would probably be pretty big, but not as big as a satoshi for every Budhhist monk, heh.

But all irony aside, ownership (which again is another debate since today most "owners" actually are only in possession of an app that tells them they have it but don't know how to or cannot actually interact with the private keys that control those coins) isn't necessarily an equation of adoption.

No one will care about whales and sharks manipulating the market prices because there will be sophisticated systems put in place that serve as buffers.  It’s going to be like having a dollar or your local currency. Everyone will have it no matter how little.

Can you elaborate more on this?
Do you have any idea about such "sophisticated system" that will remove all volatility and manipulation on the markets and make Bitcoin/cryptocurrency prices stable? Grin
Let me remind you that price volatility is what makes Bitcoin and altcoins so desirable for the traders and investors.Bitcoin/altcoins having zero volatility would be as boring as fiat money and all the traders would just run away from the crypto markets, creating big problems with market liquidity.
I don't believe that Bitcoin will ever become the "one and only" global currency. There's no need for that.
There will be periods, when Bitcoin is trending and periods when almost nobody cares about BTC.
There will be ups and downs, but I don't expect total domination of Bitcoin.

We are still incredibly far from Bitcoin being a popular store of value among the general population. Even gold is almost never used for that purpose. People who live in countries with weak national currencies, which is majority of the world, prefer to storing at least some of their savings in the US dollar and Bitcoin is viewed by them as simply too risky.

New technologies sometimes take a while to be adopted (the Internet is a good example) but eventually can become mainstream. There's a chance that the same will happen to Bitcoin, and that adoption rates will skyrocket. However, given that Bitcoin offers way fewer use cases than something like the Internet or a mobile phone, I don't think it'll ever reach mass adoption (in the sense of at least a third of the population actually using it, for instance). But it doesn't mean it won't grow and become widely popular in some circles. I also don't think that people will be forced to adopt Bitcoin (that it'll become such a necessity that one would need to learn about it, if that's what you meant by 'forced').

People will not feel forced to use bitcoin because that will depend on them. If they think bitcoin can help them to get more resources to have another new income, they will start using crypto and will search for that way. But if they do not like crypto, they will not use it instead will stay away from crypto and will still use fiat and will figure out how they can have a new source of income. Those people will realize what benefits of crypto to their life and if they see bitcoin as one of many ways that can help them have a better future in the finances section, they will join us.
and besides in what way people can be forced to use bitcoin? is there really a way for us to be forced?  i don't think so lol .
we are here freely and we can get out anytime we wanted but of course we choose to stay because we are earning here and of course benefiting.
we can transact easily and we can gain at the same time .
so i am asking how could OP mentioned that the other people are being forced to use if there are no way this can be true .

We use bitcoin on our own, which means there is no coercion in this. What if people are forced to use bitcoin? I would say it's something wrong. Unless there is a legal basis for doing so, for example a government-issued regulation obliges all citizens to use bitcoin.

we’re going to have two types of people. The first type of people will be those who got on the Bitcoin train voluntarily.
Voluntarily ? well majority of us enter or invest in bitcoin in our own will but not totally voluntarily because we have been encourage by someone or by situation like wanting to have extra income or investment.

And those who were “forced” because they had no other choice.
Wait . where did this come from? being forced and no other choice? this is not how bitcoin was created mate, this is for freedom and not to be enforced to use.

At this time, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not going to be a big deal anymore.

It looks like a dream. Very lower possibility to happen. Don't expect the world will just wait for Bitcoin. Once a time fiat like PayPal role then digital currency world. But now Bitcoin rolling digital currency world. How do you have enough confidence that there wouldn't other currencies with more advanced technologies wouldn't appear? And likely it would accept worldwide. I am not ignoring the potentialities of Bitcoin. It would exist as a volatile currency. But I am talking about technical things that would happen. Doesn't matter it would like a stable coin. Bitcoin wasn't created to volatile the world. It was created to make an easier decentralized p2p payment system.

This would happen only if there is no opposition to it and everyone will accept it as you said. Price will also stop increasing at a crazy rate because no one would bother to hold it anymore. Unlike now, that era has not been yet established and what investors are doing right now is hoarding it until everyone realized that they need it and when that happened, the price is already sky rocketed. Just look at the price right now and compare it to the last 4 years ago.

I think the truth will lay somewhere far less extreme and more akin to our current economic situation, but with just one more option thrown in the mix.

unfortunately the whales will never disappear and will never lose their ability to influence the market, just see that many of these rich have many bitcoins and each month are proud to say that they are buying a lot of bitcoin on the dip, about your prophecy you just said obvious things that will happen even if years go by because they are already happening but slowly. I thought you were going to prophesy about satoshi's appearance Grin

Nobody ever forced anyone to get bitcoin.  People choose to get bitcoin willingly  only when they know it importance and how valuable it is. You should have said those who were ignorant of bitcoin instead of saying forced.

I was afraid it was going to be misinterpreted and that's why I put it in parentheses "". No one is going to literally force anyone to buy bitcoin. I mean, at some point they'll realize its efficiency as a medium of exchange as well as its general acceptance.

'Forced' is a word that does not correlate with bitcoin in any way. Bitcoin is meant to be an option that anyone can freely use without needing a third party and they are also free to not use it if they do not wish to.

"Forced" not in the literal sense of the word but of course if my mates are getting it, I have to get it too. If with a tap of my phone I can make quick payments as opposed to cash or other medium, then I have to get it too. I do not mean anyone will be forced into buy bitcoin.

things like this will definitely happen in the future because bitcoin is indirectly now something that can be considered sensational and it is certain that many people or institutions and countries will indeed be there.
but for the word coercion, I don't think this makes sense because I really feel that here we are not under compulsion from the past, now even in the future there will be no compulsion because we are free to do whatever

I don't think that the time will come that people would be forced to invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin is for everyone freely and there's no need for any forcing to happen because you can have it as much as you want, voluntarily.

Soon Bitcoin would not be news or in the news as much as it is today.
It will remain on the news, no matter what level of adoption we have already. Still, bitcoin is going to be a talk in the town regardless of the price since it's already in the mainstream and there's dedicated time for it given by those news agency to monitor it.

Is Bitcoin present as a form of coercion? for me, it is not allowed. Even with financial freedom which means Bitcoin will not force someone to use it if they don't like it. After all, Bitcoin is just a tool, no one can control it to force it to be used arbitrarily. Isn't Bitcoin decentralized? and will never be centralized.

I appreciate how you expect such an obsession, but we also can't rule out people around us who still live depending on the stability of fiat money. Due to the fact that we prefer to say that anyone who uses Bitcoin we will welcome, and if not then we will not prohibit and force to use it.

"Soon"? Nah man. Regardless if every single person on earth knows about Bitcoin already, it will definitely still be in the news if there's even the slightest of price volatility. And definitely don't expect the volatility to go away any time soon.

I still don't think people will be forced to use bitcoin. Have you thought of another cryptocurrency beating bitcoin ?
Yeah Bitcoin is beating it all, despite having such a fall in price.... You can predict the future with the past and present, but that's kinda hard in the cryptocurrency..... isn't it ?
