Can my wallet receive coins if I encrypted it? If not, how do I unlock my encrypted wallet?
or when you send the sends in bitcoin-qt it will ask you to unlock it before it sends the coins and then it will re-lock itself

It will receive bitcoins. You'll need to unlock it to get the bitcoins out.
