No dice, corrupted again.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

Any way I can sync it on another pc and then transfer the whole client (ie. install it on a usb drive, sync it and tansfer any required files)?

So as an update:

The same thing happened twice more, where my block database was corrupted.  This time I have been getting the errors, but every time I restart qt I get to download a few more blocks.  Hopefully I will be able to sync this way, 19912 blocks remaining.

Hey everyone,

So when I started mining I originally downloaded the bitcoin client but couldnt get it to work, so I ended up using electrum ever since.  Only problem is I don't think you can encrypt your wallet with electrum, and with all that can happen I want to be as secure as possible.  So I redownloaded the bitcoin qt.  I got about 75% of the way through the block chain downloads and then got an error 'can't write block data' or something to that effect.  I closes and reopend QT, same thing.  Rebooted, same thing except then it told me my block database was corrupted and asked if I wanted to rebuild it.  I am now restarting the block chain download.  Anyone else run into this issue?  Is there a better/another wallet that I can use that has encryption options?

Thanks everyone,

NBS

Edit:  I am on a brand new rig, bitcoin qt is the only one I have problems with, and no my disk isnt full.  I still have about 1.5tb left.
