really just thought Id make a fun raffle, didnt know there was so muck backlash to this, Im sorry.

Read my edited advice - and do you actually have 10 bitcoins in funds?  Or are you just going to wait until 20 people send 0.5 BTC each, then do the raffle?  I think it's the second option.  Not safe, unless you escrow the whole thing.  Even then, there are more fair and trusted lottos on bitcointalk, such as Dab's provably fair lotto.

I was trying to get 20 people to donate, Im sorry I see now this was a miserable idea.

Yeah, your pathetic scam lol

An obvious scam.  Send bitcoin to the address if you feel like generously donating.
Otherwise, stay away.

How about this?  You first send 10 Bitcoins to a trusted third party, then when the draw begins you do a fair drawing.  The 10 bitcoins will be sent from the escrow to the winner.

With all due respect, it's very fine and realistic for pepole to post on here questioning sending bitcoins to a complete stranger with no known reputation on here.

You may be an honest person doing a legitimate thing, but you should still respect that people will rise doubts when a new member no one knows comes on this board asking people to send a stranger 0.5 bitcoins and just trust his "word" that he will actually pay out.

Many people on this board have been scammed by people who have been around for years and who were considered trustworthy (as others said it was a long con).  Expect most people on here to question something like this.

edit:  If you want something like this to work you would need a 3rd party escrow service that the community already knows and trusts. Would be very rare for people to send $300+ dollars to a complete stranger with no way of tracking them down or even any sort of legal recourse.  Maybe there are some escrow services on here that already have a reputation holding peoples bitcoins, I'd suggest you look into them holding the bitcoins if you wanted to do a raffle.

Just send it back to the same address that sent it.

Why would they have to PM you?
It could be a send-only address at an exchange, etc.

Thats what I thought but I found the return in my wallet and sent it, no worries!

Could you declare it more - exactly?

How much will dividend payout in percent?

Im not sure at the looks of it I probably wont make anything and have to pay some btc, this was for Christmas and for fun.
Ok. Then it sounds much more fair-dealing........Grin

Why the hell you want to redeploy BTC for FUN?  Roll Eyes

Sorry, but at this point now i declare it as a scam try. Who are the player, which send you 2BTC already? Why they not wrote here? Grin

I still havent heard from them yet... if a mod wants to move it to a game section that is fine..

Then it belongs here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0

I'm sure a mod will move it there or to the trashcan soon enough.

Sorry if you actually had some Christmas cheer,

but there is a huge amount of scammers out there.

Why are you asking? Trust no one. Especially for this...  Huh

Its a raffle, a risk, like gambling, if you have the btc to play then you can win a whole lot more Smiley

If there is any it will go to the winner or maybe a second one, I will take what is left after that and dispose equally...
So you do it for free, non profit just for? Fun?

you gotta be joking.. right?  strangers just going to send you bitcoins.. good luck..

well its not stranger, we are all registered here, its like betting at the casino, there will be at least one winner of 10+ BTC so for an investment of roughly $300 you can make $6000  for the btc wealthy it is just a fun way to spread BTC and possibly make a lot more.  Merry Christmas!
