Either way, follow the golden rules of bitcoin,

Dont invest more than you can afford to lose.

Dont take advice from peopel on the internet

Dont store your btc somewhere that you dont control the keys.

"Dont invest more than you can afford to lose." - Very much agree with this.  Wink

Can you explain? Why not to take advice from people on the net?

Well for technical support or something yeah fine but for financial advice why would you listen to anyone here. Do you think they have your best interest at heart? Do you think they are talking their book? How do you feel when you put money into something and then you lose it? You will just be another one of the 100's of people moaning about so and so told me to buy this etc.

i have bought a few bitcoins a couple of weeks ago (under 500 USD), now i am wondering will it ever reach again that value, as the digital coin has some quit a few who would love to see it keep on falling...

IMHO, the price will go up but I don't know when it will reach $500 or $1000.
You can find lots of speculation of bitcoin price in the speculation section. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0

is it good that the bitcoin's rate is falling these days?

If you have bought some bitcoin weeks ago, it is probably bad for you.
If you want to buy some cheap bitcoin, it is probably good for you.

If you are a merchant accepting bitcoin payment and using bitpay, you probably don't care about the bitcoin price. Cheesy

It is $ 429.58 now as per the site I visited. I think it is again getting better.

Take a loot at:

for a nice price tracker and metrics.

Okay thanks. Had a look on the site and BTC is higher there than I thought.

Im sure some traders are making a lot of profit from the price swings

thus to the average saver - it's bad... i bought some bitcoins when the price was around 500UDS - I'm loosing money these days.

No you only loose money if you sell now.

is it good that the bitcoin's rate is falling these days? It's now about 427 USD... Was much higher a few weeks/months ago... Will the glory days return?

Depends if you want to buy the low price is good for you. If you want to cashout the price might be bad for you.

Noone will be able to tell you what the future will bring.
