This is probably because of some coins that features the same services of adverting networks, adnetworks likes contents which DEcent project is up to and steemit. They are all spreading the word about bitcoin.

I don't agree there are enough good bitcoin ad networks. Only Coinad and Mellowads are good, the rest are not even close.

Not really good because,
-Most ads comes from HYIP/ponzi/scam investment.
-The owner of advertising platforms don't care much about user got scammed.
-The users/views are very limited to bitcoiner/geek/nerd (for now)
-Too many low quality ads from what i've seen & very annoying.
Based on my experience, i've only seen few advertising which is interesting and not annoy me when i surfing.
i do agree with these points,most of ads which comes from advertising platform mentioned above are really annoying,especially with the image which destroy the simplicity of the website and when the website owner setting up any ads such as pop ads which popping up suddenly for every clicks it's really disturbing -Most ads comes from HYIP/ponzi/scam investment.

care to mention some of the new ones here for us? because a random site that starts the same service and can't become successful doesn't really count as a increasing number of advertising platforms. you can start one right now with a very small amount of money but success is another thing.
if they are in fact growing and successful then i guess it is a good thing and it shows people are using these ad networks and also "use bitcoin"

I think it's good thing that more advertising networks opens, because publishers have more options which networks to choose.
Bad thing is lack of advertisers. Less popular networks don't have many advertisers. And I don't like content of mostly ads - there are mostly ponzi schemes and HYIP's.

r you speaking about services like Bitmedia.io , a-ads ? unless those services are high quality then I don't see how useful is it to increase or decrease . I can't say about others but I prefer having 1 high quality service rather then having 10 low quality (which is the case for those advertising networks by the way)
Bitmedia is not a great platform, i admit that.
I like adbit, adblockz, mellow, bitvertise, cointraffic, coinad, and few other.
