Still looking for interesting photos. Recently, I have been posting photoes of companys and restaruants accepting bitcoin. It seems to be getting more attention as I got about 20 followers today. As i mentioned before, I will be giving away some small amounts of bitcoins via QR code as well, but i am planing to do that when i hit 1k followers.

Alright, here's a little tutorial on how to do a QR code giveaway:

1. Head on over to https://www.bitaddress.org
2. Generate a new bitcoin address. (move your cursor around until it hits 100%)
3. Send the amount of bitcoin you want to give away to the QR code on the left ("share").
4. Post the QR code on the right ("secret") on Instagram or wherever you want to do the give away. You should be able to right click on the QR code and save the image.

Note: Never use bitaddress.org for creating addresses that will store large amounts of bitcoin... if you use this website, you will be trusting that they don't store the private key and take the bitcoins for themselves.

Thank you very much for the help. I have got one final question. If i were the reciever. Where would i need to use the private key in order to transfer the amount into my blockchain.info wallet.

Scanning a private key and transferring all of the bitcoins from the private key to a personal address is called "sweeping". It's kind of like redeeming a gift card online.
Most wallets have a feature like this.

Manually with Blockchain.info mobile app:
1. Open menu
2. Tap "addresses"
3. Tap the three dot menu in top right
4. "Import Address"
5. Scan QR code of private key
6. Create a transaction sending all of the bitcoins from the private key into your personal wallet. (Other people will be trying to do the same thing! You've gotta be faster than everyone else)
7. Archive/delete the private key that had the giveaway funds. You don't want to accidentally receive bitcoins there!

In Electrum:
1. Click "wallet" in the top menu
2. Click "private keys"
3. Click "sweep"
4. Scan QR

In anything else:
Look for anything that says something like "import private key", "sweep key", "redeem private key", "import paper wallet", etc.

Addtional Literature:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Private_key

Thank you very much mate. Now, I understand how it works.

Hmmm... looks like I need to get an Instagram account  Wink

One cool idea I just had is that you could do small giveaways every once in a while where you post a picture of a QR code to a private key.
You'd probably gain a bunch of new followers Cheesy

I am going to do that. I will start to do it when i hit 1k followers. However first i will need to lear about transfers with QR code. I have posted a question before too. There is still no answer.  Huh

One of places that accepts bitcoin to do transactions is Bali, Indonesia. It's one of foreigners' favourite place to spend holiday so I think many people know this place. You can do transaction at CasCades Restaurant and Viceroy Bali (a resort).

This is a good site, I have contacted a few of the image owners before for me to use the images in some of my work; https://bit4coin.net/bitcoin-photo-contest/photos

This is actually really nice. I appreciated.

P.s; Still hungry for more as I post photos often to reach more people.  Cheesy
