Like in fiat world there are also rich people in Bitcoin world. But in Bitcoin community funds are spread among smaller number of people and somehow I have the feeling that they have bigger influence then rich people in "fiat world".
Some of them are probably early adopters so they acumulated this funds long time ago.

we are sure that the first address is not simply an exchange, or an address made by a consortium or something like this? how cna be certain that those address belong to the first person? i don't think there is really a way to know this

So what are the chances that first one could be Satoshi Nakomato or will it be more for him than this.? Quite interesting isn't it.

i remember that satoshi has at least 200k coin, if he is the first one there it mean that he dumped around 70k, but as i said it may also be that the second address is still own by him

Why do you want this info, if I may ask? You know this type of information is very unreliable and constantly changing.. right? If someone

see a list like this on the internet somewhere, where they are dox'ed, they just sweep those coins, push it through a mixer and split it

into smaller cold storage to make it less attractive for hackers.  Roll Eyes ... The richest Bitcoin users, will not keep all their coins in one address,

because it attracts too much negative attention.  Wink

Cause I want to know how exchanges are moving users deposits? It might change I know, but some exchanges are publishing it officially, so why are you suggesting it's a top secret info.

Ah, I missed a crucial part of your question there... sorry. I now realize that you only want the rich list for exchanges. You should add

that to your thread title. At the rate at which these exchanges are being hacked, it might not be a good idea to publish this information

in public, even though most of these coins are stored in cold storage.   Huh If you know how deep their pockets are, you might consider

kidnapping and ransom scenarios.  Roll Eyes

I think we can only be guessing. But there are many addresses that are known, because exchange keeping bitc in such cold visible storage address increases it's reliability. Here's some discussion:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/48umcw/poloniexs_bitcoin_cold_storage_is_now_the_7th/?st=iupnm3e7&sh=cac00b59

But I think poloniex changed that address. What about other exchanges?

We have records of the addresses holding the most coins but we're never going to know a proper legit bitcoin rich list. People have many addresses & we can't link one person to multiple addresses if there are no transactions between them on the blockchain.

Somebody might have multiple amounts of 2000 bitcoin's in 50 different addresses, that person wouldn show up on a bitcoin rich list.

Yes if I had millions of dollars invested I would definitely have it spread out over many addresses to make it harder to track.

Is this results real time?
If so than i think we can also count total bitcoin address exist right now which have atleast few satoshi. I have seen several thread asking how much bitcoin address that exist or created till now, this link may become useful to calculate.

If 6295122 address is 55.14% of total bitcoin address than we can say there are around 10 million total bitcoin addresses in operation having more than 0 satoshi ?

Very interesting lists and thank you for posting. So far the highest btc owners has 134,956 BTC . Seems like it is from an exchanges or only one person owns it? The second highest came with 79,957.11605233 BTC a very big difference.

It's something that I think will give negative impact to those who only think about to get a lot of money but do not want to do the hard work. I am very glad that there are some people who are against logging does have a Bitcoin most, but it's all actually could also give bad impact for most people if their mindset is not true.

I am looking for a bitcoin richlist preferrably with some comments of known/guessed addresses. Again I found it for other coins but not for the most popula BTCr:( If they aren't among those top500-1000 addresses I would like to get list of most probable bitcoin wallets for exchanges - polo, bittrex etc.
