Bots can help because it takes emotions out of your trading. But if you want low risk, it's better to HODL. Cool
But there are also some negative effects on using trading bot, especially if you are newbie on trading or just starting to trade. The negative side on that is you will become lazy if you fully rely on your trading bot and also the cost of trading cost, maybe the cost of the trading cost is extremely high, so rather that the cost of trading bot will add to your trading funds you end up having low trading funds.
But I really don't saying that using trading bot is bad, there's a lot of trading bot that you can get lessons, especially what @Bitmaxz said, you can add some of your trading strategy manually.

I agree with you if bot makes this trader lazy, and this makes many beginners stuck no progress. But I'm sure users of this bot will sooner or later leave their habits because market is difficult to predict with limitations of bot features.

Well, although some bots that are said to be @Bitmaxz are quite capable and can custom their own strategies, but not all strategies are able to be in all market situations. And when their strategies do not match the market situation, their funds will be sucked.

Bitcoin robot? means bitcoin trading tool to make a profit?
If so, I recommend you not to use it. As financial experts have said, the crypto market is always risky and the nature of the market is changing very fast, so algorithms will not guarantee the situation of the market. Naturally, it will not guarantee good profits for you.

I think people are against bot because it's so hard for a newbie to set the proper parameters to make it work and make money. That's why it is advisable for newbies to really try "manual" trading first before moving to trading bots. So in this way, you won't lose on the numerous trading parameters to set in order to trade. I for one had the same experience before, and I have to read tons of materials and ask everyone around on how to play that bot, Lol, not a good experience for me.

There are two options that I know you can use the paid one and the free one.

Check this list below.

- GunBot paid trading bot.
- Gekko the free trading bot

Both are good but in Gekko, you need to add some trading strategy manually but don't worry there is a strategy from their guide documentation.

I believe I'm brave enough to try trading again, but with the free one. My last day trading adventure ended in losses. Haha.
