My account is already escalated, its suppose to be with a specialist, but no one ever replies.

~snip~

What exchange do your coins come from? Let's see maybe there is an issue between that exchange and Coinbase.
Are you in the UK right now?
You are living in a very strict AML law since you transferred a very big amount of coins it will take too long to verify if you didn't submit what they ask.

What I think is to try to submit what they ask you said their email is in your junk why not try to submit what they ask even if it's late?
Use the contact email they provide from your email to submit what they ask.

My coins has built up over time, it wasnt just one large transfer. I cannot submit what they ask for because it asks me to login first if that makes sense.

Their customer service is soooooo poor its unbelievable. They expect me to just "wait". Calling their support is pointless because they tell me its with a different team as my account is in "review".

Do they not allow you to escalate your case to the said team? Unless you already did, try for a few more times with a good amount of intervals in between and insist on that (but nevermind if the cost is gonna be expensive for you, just stick to the free over the internet methods). For a lot of exchanges, talking to support is like a lottery, sometimes you get someone who knows what they're talking about, other times you get someone who feels more like a trainee.

Hi guys, the £70,000 was built up over time - I dont gamble. My coins where on the bitcoin exchange. Not in the  wallet.

I have been following up in a few different channels - Ive also filed complains with coinbase themselves, SEC, CFPB and lodged my concern with the FCA. - I'm UK based.

I think its a compliance issue with my account - they were sending me emails that where going to my junk asking for more info. I wasnt able to submit that info as I was already receiving the error message "sorry account temporarily disabled. please contact support." on logging in.

Their customer service is soooooo poor its unbelievable. They expect me to just "wait". Calling their support is pointless because they tell me its with a different team as my account is in "review".

I dont think the liked the fact that I reported them to CFPB - As they have acknowledged that complaint Cheesy

You're definitely not the only person whose centralized exchange account got disabled. As a matter of fact, on the contrary, you are one of so many. And a full KYC has never been a guarantee that your account will have an undisturbed smooth sailing.

If it's already two weeks and your communication with the support isn't responded to or even acknowledged yet, perhaps it's about time that you contact them again, remind them that you have a pending ticket or an unacknowledged message. And as much as possible please be polite. Sometimes, the staff of these insensitive centralized platforms are too sensitive.

Nothing else to do except to follow up your case regularly in as many coinbase channel as possible (but do not break their rules and talk rudely - support team are humans and aren't as neutral).

But try to put more effort in their subreddit (/r/CoinBase/). You might get their attention if your post can manage to snag a good amount of upvotes. This is because the subreddit is 98% made up of complaints so you have to make yourself stand out. Try to make a catchy title, I would say including the total amount (or just figures) you've lost in your title would help. In addition, crossposting in other crypto subreddits would be a plus as well. The downside is... you'll probabaly be receiving more scam PMs. That said, try to familiarize yourself on whats fake and not.

You didn't confirm that you are with Coinbase exchange. Is that what you are using OP?

With the deposit that you have, do you have proof on where it came from or reason why you have it? I think that's just one of the things exchanges are worried about and why they are freezing accounts that could have suspicious sources or something. I think it's regulatory for them to do that.

The only one you could reach out is their support. Find other ways as well, not sure if they have Telegram or Discord or something. To make support easier etc.

I would like to hear from OP that they really understand what is Bitcoin and what is “Bitcoin wallet”, exchange or any other service related to Bitcoin.
He blame Bitcoin, for something which they don’t understand properly. I am not sure that he recognize any advice which he get from here.

Not just gambling it is also not allowed porn and drugs depending on where you live.

And what country do you live in? Check your country from their list here https://www.coinbase.com/places if your country is supported

Every country on Coinbase has different terms and policies and maybe you maybe break one of their rules without notice.

If you are looking for live phone support I suggest you check this below.

You are going to wait until the support replies to you, otherwise there's no one here who can help you. The problem could be from the £70,000  that is in your account.

Did you deposit in your account it recently from some source, an online casino? Coinbase has some strict rules regarding funds from gambling platforms.

Yep, its prohibited.

(E) Gambling: Lotteries; bidding fee auctions; sports forecasting or odds making; fantasy sports leagues with cash prizes; internet gaming; contests; sweepstakes; games of chance.
Source: https://www.coinbase.com/legal/user_agreement/payments_europe

The only thing that op could do is to wait up for their response and able to clarify on whats the actual problem which causes for the locked up of funds.

Based on the error message you shared, I'm guessing you're referring to Coinbase? If so, have you tried any of the following[1]?

For over 2 weeks now I've been unable to login to my account. When I try to lgoin I get the error message.. "sorry account temporarily disabled. please contact support." Apparently my account is under review, for what I dont know. I'm fully KYC'd.

Contacting their support doesnt help, they dont reply to emails nothing - With over £70,000 stuck on their platform and they dont care.

Anyone ever been in the same boat? What should my next steps be? Who can i reach out to?

Thanks
