Moving to another wallet won't save you if you have got malware in your PC. I think what you should do is wiped off the whole OS and install a fresh one, then just sweep your Bitcoins to a new wallet you create.

If it's a lot of funds then buying a hardware wallet which is a little more secure way of keeping your Bitcoins wouldn't be a bad idea

I switched wallets on a pc to a new clean os, windows 8.1 from 7 at the time.

If this hacker had this level of access my wallet and password would be already compromised!

I recived one more email and that was the last of it.
I checked my wallet today and nothing has been touched . if you recive this email dont be alarmed just ignore .
I wasent to worried because i would have been hacked more severly. I figure i would be best to share with the community to help people understand this situation.

Of course you should ignore this kind of emails because those are really scams. Just look at the wallet address he wants you to send: 15sPaadYQLEhJG8Q2Skd1LXkYRo2fGfbK1, still nothing, 0, nada it means that no one is falling for his trap. LOL. Emails like this has been going on for so many years and now it was quickly evolved into scammers asking for ransoms in BTC. And as @odolvlobo have said, change everything and used a strong password.

Thanks for sharing, I have been reading about this scam in the news, but without details. This is in fact the plot of one episode of the notorious Black Mirror series, but that one has no happy end.

interesting entertainment in bitcoin-scammers. I do not think that this was actually so. but in fact he could use a private encryption key and somehow get into your computer. but maybe it was just a typical spam mailing.

Apparently the scammer got your email and password from a list of leaked passwords. The best thing to do is to ignore the threat and change all of your passwords. It is best to make each password unique, and never use a popular or easy-to-guess password like "qwer1234".

Yeah the guy is trying to scam you, he surely doesn't know anything about you. I remember a while back when someone in The US was doing similar to your case but he was sending mails letters. He sent thousands and thousands of letters with about the same thing as your email.
Just in the hope some guys panic and fall into the trap

Ignore. He probably sent that same email to thousands of people. But, if you believe that any of his claims might be true, then wipe your computer to remove any malware, and then change all of your passwords.

my password is not qwer1234 any more for anything but some of my family knows about this password . i do not want to respond for security reason.
Ive had a suspension that i had a virus because my computer would turn itself on.
The thing that bothers me is the knowing of my scrap password. Only family members know this. I now have a new device that i have not visted any suspecious sites changed all passwords, and only use non https//.
my web cam is covered so he dose not have anything on me. Possibly he got video from when i was younger and didnt realize the web cam. I guess ill see if any of my contacts get some nudes .i just received this at 1:20 i don't know if i should be concerned or to ignore. He could have all my info key logged . HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh?

I do know, qwer1234, is your password. you may not know me and you are most likely wondering why you're getting this e mail, correct?

The answer is, I actually installed a malware on the adult video clips (porn material) and there's more, you visited this site to experience fun (you know what I mean). When you were watching video clips, your browser started out functioning as a Rdp (Remote desktop) having a keylogger which provided me with accessibility to your display and also web camera. Right after that, my software program collected all your contacts from your messenger, facebook, as well as email.

What exactly did I do?
I made a double-screen video. First part displays the video you were viewing (you have a nice taste omg), and 2nd part shows the recording of your web camera.

Exactly what should you do?
Well, in my opinion, $1800 is a fair price tag for our little secret. You will make the payment through Bitcoin (if you do not know this, search "how to buy bitcoin" in google).

BTC ADDRESS: 15sPaadYQLEhJG8Q2Skd1LXkYRo2fGfbK1
(It is cASe sensitive, so copy and paste it carefully)

Important:
You have one day to make the payment. (I have a special pixel within this mail, and now I know that you've read this message). If I don't get the BitCoin, I will definately send out your video recording to all of your contacts including members of your family, colleagues, and so on. having said that, if I do get paid, I will erase the video immediately. If you want evidence, reply with "yes!" and I will certainly send your video to your 5 contacts. It's a non-negotiable offer, so please don't waste my time & yours by responding to this message.
