We regularly see some scam linked to Bitcoin in some way. In most instances Bitcoin is only used as the payment method, but it still gets a bad reputation, because it was linked to some scam.

Now, I was asking myself this question : " If I wanted to take down Bitcoin, why not start with an attack on their user base? "

If I could get enough people to burn their fingers with Bitcoin, then the word of mouth will gradually kill it. People does not differenciate between the scams and Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is used as a tool to drive that scam.

How many of these Ponzi schemes are driven by our competitors or even some governments?

How many Ponzi schemes are funding "Spam" attacks on our network or even used to develop Ransomware that are linked to Bitcoin?

The White Hat hackers that are Bitcoin friendly, should investigate these cases and help us to expose them. Most of the government agencies are not "ready" to deal with these crimes.
