Hello i was wondering something. I got the general idea of how bitcoin works. But i was wondering How is the process of receiving bitcoin from someone differs from Sending bitcoin from someone?

What i mean is the second address the same as the receiving address? The other thing how does it know what to send or receive? are the Qr codes the same? I'm not understanding this can someone please help me out? Thank you for any advice.

Hey Joseph, Bitcoin wallets are designed to have two types of keys called public key and private key. the public key is your bitcoin address which you can share with others/individuals and others can people can send you bitcoin in this public key. it also allows them to see your wallet balance and your transaction history. but on the other hand, you have the private key(it's like a master lock) by which you can have control over your bitcoin address. so who has the private key can send coins from that wallet to another bitcoin address. its called Asymmetric cryptography. this helps bitcoin to get unhackable security.

What wallet are you using because I think it is very simple you have to click the receive to be able to see your own address.
And it depends on you ,on what you want to send or recieve .
And please try to understand how it works before doing any transaction .
You could use the beginners and help to understand more about crypto.

Every person has its own personal wallet address. It may be one or two or many more. But there are differences in regards to the private key and the public key or the wallet address. Its wallet have a unique address. No addresses are alike so it means that the sender and the receiver and vice versa are using different kind of wallet address. Other wise if you send bitcoin to the same address as the sender then the bitcoin will just go back to the sender itself.

Hello all sorry for the late replay my father is very sick and i ad less and less time online. I'm still looking into Split payment between two wallets. I wasn't clear on how to do so and I'm still working on that.

Split payment between two wallets? I have no idea what you are asking about to be honest, but I think you should give us more details about your issue. At least tells us what wallet you are using and what you are going to do with the wallet. It will be easier for us to help you if you give more details.

What wallet are you using?
When it comes on sending out bitcoin into other users then it would be just similar as your receiving address too. Unless if you are using some wallets like Electrum which do have
multi-address where your receiving addresses will differ anytime you do make a tx.

The features on your wallet may be different if you are using the popular blockchain wallet if you have the mobile app you can just click on the > below where you are ask of you pin, or on the web wallet just go to the receive section and copy your receiving wallet address from there.

Hi. What's your wallet? blockchain.info? If you have a blockchain wallet, to find your address to receive funds, just click on "receive" and copy the address (make sure when you paste that the address is identical because some virus can modify it). Once this address has been used to receive funds, blockchain.info will automatically create a new one, but nothing to worry your old addresses can still be used to receive funds.

To send bitcoin, you need to ask what is the bitcoin address of the recipient and click on "send" and enter the address, then you will see an option to choose your fees, to send a quick payment you can choose express delivery but the fee is expensive so it is better to select the standard fee. Payments should reach the recipient's account in a few hours if the network is not congested.
