Admittedly the false optimism is the exception rather than the rule now but personally I find it amusing to note the one or two die-hard commercial news companies who still try to spin the "EU saved, everything is fine" line.

I know it's a cliche but the cat's out of the bag with the Cyprus deal - MSM are spinning the deal as "crisis averted" but check out #cyprus on twitter to get a general feel of the reaction. There is now no way anyone can say "your deposits are safe" in the EU and that has to force people to start looking to PMs and Bitcoin.
