Any action would need to be able to firstly identify the true identity of the proposed defendant. This would be very hard to prove. Secondly unless you could prove to the court that you have suffered a financial loss due to advice given personally to you them any action would fail.

I would suggest therefore that any proposed action would fail and would be a waste of money. Forums are not professional advice upon which you should rely to make an investment.

I have a question - what's your opinion on the legality of forums like this one pumping alt coins for the sole purpose of trying to artificially inflate the price and allow the pumper to sell and make a quick profit?  Is it only illegal if it involves a publicly traded stock?  I would love to join a class action against some of the tossers around here.
