the thing with other altcoin like solana is that its a lot more volatile but yes it does give more profit in the long run but also needs to know that these coin could always bring back down sharply unlike bitcoin that even if it dumps it won't be as sharp unless some big bad thing happening, thats why when people are truly getting into cryptocurrency investment they would think about risk management that is by investing a lot in bitcoin and the rest to altcoin, i do that and it have been working pretty well despite the fact that we might not maximize the profit.

I did even saw it under $28 but never invest as well and that's why I just accepted it as a big miss for making money. the thing with short term around bullrun is that, we might take profit at peak when some coin are rising, but we also might likely ended tobe missing an even bigger pump in the upcoming waves.
because we've taken profit and we are hesitant to get in again because tbh, the coin might be very well kept on climbing up and instead of dumping as we expected, the coin just continues its rally and we are missing good entry point that we have earlier.

Op, seeing that bitcoin has started rising, why not just invest in the bitcoin rather than looking for altcoin to invest in for short term, besides bitcoin can also be used for short term investment. Don't you think there is a better alternative to ZIL and KAVA? ZIL is known for its high transaction speeds but they are not as fast as solana. Though i think SOL is blockchain is broken due to its building nature but its still the fastest one. On the other hand KAVA is doing great in its sector but AAVE is still the market leader in this market. Also there are few other lending protocols that offer better service and options than KAVA so i am not sure KAVA will be able to hold its position for very long.

It's not bad to also invest in Altcoin, I will say it depends on your capital.  But for now I see Bitcoin as the leading crypto in the globe, I will advice you first invest in bitcoin cuz it has a strong buying support and a reliable price, the probability of u remaining your capital is assured. If u have already got enough bitcoin in your wallet, I think it is good to invest in Altcoin but with careful consideration about it's volatile in nature. Though the market is getting better and those tokens really have the chance to pump again, its just a matter of timing on when to buy since not all can have the chance to rise again. Investment and short-term doesn't go along, would rather call it trading since you just do it in short-term anyway unless your definition of "short-term" is different than mine.
Would recommend to check the coinmarketcap for the top one since you are looking for short-term trading. Maybe doing some swing-trading could be good in this scenario, so many strategies can be used for this one and as well can give you some brief explanation about what to do and which one to pick on every situation you are in.

Gala and Link are both old projects so it will not be too risky if we will continue hodling them for the long term. Another reason why we should hodl them for the long term is that their growth are much slower than the rest of the coins. I am not familiar with the other coins in your list but maybe they are just new coins with less potential since they aren't being talked about often.

I don't totally mean hype there, so we can only invest on them for the short term just to be safe from a possible collapse. When Bitcoin or the whole market starts to increase again, not all altcoins are going to follow but only the most deserving ones or those altcoins with real purpose.

Actually a person research about certain projects if he get positive feedback then he desires to make investment in it and if he does not get any positivity then he do not want to make investment in it. Investment in every project is risky the important thing is that you should manage that risk and you should have create idea and action according to that risks. You should know that not  single project is safe completely it up to you that how much money you put and for how much time you keep it hold so making concept about defi project is very useful before participation.

this might be well a bulltraps, you know accumulating when bullrun already occur always a bad idea, mainly because it could go down quite literally any time. you should be better off waiting until it got another correction otherwise you're just adding unnecessary risk towards your investments, always remember that after bullrun there higher chance of correction.

Be careful trying to buy alts off of bitcoins tail.  Most times they rise the same amount but your downside risk is much higher.  In this type of market you are better off just buying bitcoin.  Or if you are going to buy altcoins don't buy them for short term gains, you will lose that battle.  We still have a long way to go before any sort of bull run assembles.

if it's for short term, certainly altcoins in general gonna be good solution for you, newer coins like APTOS gonna be good for short term usually, you should just find the right momentum.
moreover, there are other coins that also gonna be scoring good increase if you're patient enough to wait until bullish comes that is matic, solana, and many more.
after all the fact that some of the newer coins have relatively small market valuation, it just means they're having higher chance of raising their value.

I think many things did dump a bit considering the latest situation. I mean it pumped for like a solid month, and then it all dumped a bit as well. We need to just realize that what gets pumped, will get dumped eventually.

Matic is not a bad coin, it is not a great one anyhow, but it is not bad, it is worse than btc or eth or bnb, but it is better than 10k+ coins and tokens out there at least, probably more of them, which means it is not really a bad choice considering what other coins are out there. I can name maybe 5 other coins I would prefer at most, probably not even that much and here we are talking about if this drop meant anything, to me it didn't mean anything but market movement.

At least, with this correction, we can start paying off to buy bitcoins with a little cash to see how far the bitcoin price goes. And if the price still drops and reaches $20k or even $18k, that's a good opportunity to buy bitcoin. And when the bitcoin price experiences a correction like that, altcoin prices will also decrease and some altcoins will drop drastically. Don't worry about Matic if you bought it at high price, it hits 1.50$+ i think it’s new ATH in the last 3 months, i was hold at 0.96$ and sold it 1.46$, now i'm waiting for a bit dumping then i will take new entry and for the long term holding. It dump much last week because it pumps much for over a month from 0.7$ to 1.55$. I believe the Matic run is already over and it might suffer correction now due to its consistent buy pressure despite Bitcoin is dumping last week.

Matic is a good project to invest but investing right now while everyone is already taking profit is a bit dangerous because the current price is still 70% higher from the low price which rally starts. This only means that there’s still many traders that is not taking profit that will probably do this time due to the sell pressure.

Why not look for futures? If your aim is to make a quick profit in a short period of time, and you are 100% certain that bitcoin will go up, then buy 100x leverage bitcoin long and you will be making more profit than any altcoin could give you. If you are not entirely sure about it, then why risk it with small altcoins as well?

I know that people want to make a lot of profit, but if they are scared to buy 100x bitcoin then they shouldn't be taking risks of small coins neither, makes no sense at all, too many projects are already riskier than leveraging bitcoin, so it would not be smart decision to buy them. I would advice anyone to stay away from alts for now until the dust settles. The price seems to unstable at the moment, going to $25k, coming back to $23k, and then back to $25k and then again to $24k and a bit stable. There are traps all around, and if you buy an alt that gets stuck in between these movements, you will end up losing a part of your capital.

It's better to wait for the price to either drop lower to rise higher from these points, especially the $25k mark. Though it did cross it two times in two days but it couldn't manage to hold it there.

Don't you see how big the impact of the pump happened with bitcoin once it was going from below 20k to the above 20k? There are so many tokens got massive pump. Even some tokens were pumping like 500% from their bottom. That proves that the impact is so big.

Think about that. Once bullrun will be really coming and i thought that it will be greatly pumping all of tokens. Even some meme tokens were also getting pumped so hard. to be honest it's a bit too late for you to join in the party.

It makes sense that a short wait might be necessary. While Bitcoin still hasn't broken above $25K, it's likely to be quite a struggle. This moment can be a pause for us to see Bitcoin's movement in the next 1 week and see whether during that time the price has penetrated the $25K line or not. For now, I will continue to reserve assets in stablecoins until the appointed time arrives. Altcoins will naturally follow so what needs to be watched right now is that resistance line.

I think we need to see what bitcoin goes to first before we could make any calculations based on altcoins. I know that many people will want to see something great with most of the altcoins they are holding, and have high hopes. However, in the crypto world you see bitcoin rising first, and when bitcoin rises, it takes the others with it, so you need to wait for that bitcoin rise before anything else.

I know that it would take some time before we could see it go somewhere decent, but that doesn't mean that it will be years, so we just need to wait this period out and when the bull run comes, from bitcoin to smallest token, it will start to rise as well.

Before you choose any altcoin you may think of, why not choose to have bitcoin first. But if that's your goal to have a short term profits, yeah, altcoins are the way for it.

I am not great at finding out about the short terms, I am usually pretty terrible at it. But by the looks of it BNB has been kicked in the nuts for a while now, along with BUSD of course but that's stable so we ignore that. This means that while we are going up, BNB has been taking a beating and after that is done, it could go up a little bit more.

I am sensing that it is not going to be easy to stop them from getting a beating, all the news everywhere is bad about Binance and how they are doing something wrong when we all know they are innocent, but that's what media wants to focus on and whoever controls the media, wants that out there. As soon as that stops (if it stops) BNB could go a lot higher.

Bitcoin has made a recovery impact on most of the market surface but I think altcoins will recover but that doesn't mean it will go up, altcoin bullish trend is not clear yet, free market is  create a new trend structure after more FUD happens and the risk on centralized trading is getting bigger and bigger, I think the coins that fit the decentralized trend will get short-term bullish wick by its characteristic  oriented to the right needs.  I think short-term altcoins are all imo from the news, if you want to watch AAVE, OKB, RPL… I set medium term target at 2024 -2025 so I will reduce short term amounts slightly.

We need to DYOR to figure out which ALT is best for investment because if we keep asking here which ALT is best then most likely people will suggest the coins in which they have invested. People are not interested in doing the hard work aka DYOR.
There are many ALTs that rose up with time and then went down. IMO even rising ALTs are good for short term investment as they disappear or cease to exist with time.

What I know is that the alts that can give us easy money are those new altcoins, preferably the risky one or also known as the pump and dump coins but I think there is no need for that since BTC is already rising and almost any alts can still follow its path so why go for the risky one when you can just choose the safe one and still gain a profit right? A good example of it will be Ethereum and BNB. Why I choose this?

Well, because they are the biggest among the rest and then I also see them being recommended by other users here in the forum. The one that you call there, Matic is also a good addition to these two. Only the top coins are the ones that we can predict closely and some of us here already made millions from investing on them.

Bitcoin is once again being stimulated to build a long term structure, this continues to represent a high level of support and bitcoin at 24k8 has represented it.  I think the short-term goal is facing many obstacles, most of the altcoins are working hard to develop their products, improve, change their platforms in the long-term, especially when the ecosystem is revolving around solutions new for stablecoins and I think the altcoin trend is gradually improving and more suitable for stablecoins - decentralized.  (Sovryn may have a short-term and long-term stepping stone that looks to be in line with the trend)

None of us can bring a concrete answer mate because what you wanted  ask here is a easy money things that cannot be predicted because if does? we are all millionaire now .
and besides you asked when bitcoin seems to be reaching 25k and the highest if can grow before another bear comes.
but Maybe Matic is one of the most possible altcoin to grow because there are 9% increase as of today and may have more.

Invest in short term is not investment. You are gambling and speculating that coin will give you good profit in short term. It's not investment.

Altcoins rose a lot in the last two months and I don't think it is safe time to buy them. Bitcoin will be tested its resistance about $25000 before it can move higher to $30,000 that is a strong resistance. If Bitcoin fails to break through those resistances, I am sure with you altcoins will have their bleeding days again.

If you don't buy Bitcoin, it's safer to hold your stable coin or fiat currency and wait for market crash.

indeed I see that currently the price of bitcoin and altcoins has increased, but for the short term in my opinion what will be good is FTM coins,

I see that btc almost hit 25k$ this morning and i believe that if btc rise 25k$ most of the altcoins will also rise or follow btc trend, so i think this time will be the very best time to decide what altcoins can give us profit in short term investment if you have any suggestions please extend or let me know.
