I believe this kind of ads are good to bring awareness about bitcoin, and I do hope to see such things here in my country as well.

How effective is this method ? Are there any statistics?
Companies use this kind of advertisement method and are probably effective to attract random people in public places to recognize bitcoin. It may be different from other products being advertised in this way since bitcoin is different from those kinds of products, but it would still help increase attention.

Wen Rolex?
As we expected when the bitcoin price there is a lot of companies and business will advertise bitcoin and most of them are possible to use the bitcoin and that is really good.

It's time to adopt the bitcoin payment method for every business and if they do that we can see a huge pump again to the bitcoin. Let's pray that many avertisement bitcoin will have this year and next few years .

This is so true. I'm every price pump, There's a lot of public advertisement such Bitcoin poster on the bus, billboards and news but after the hype, it seems that Bitcoin is just another coin that past away. People are not adopting but rather just riding the hype. I hope that BTC will introduce in to a right way to the general public and not just because of its continuous price increase.

There are Bitcoin Trams in Hongkong that have slogan as "Be your own bank".
Huge 'Bitcoin Tram' Ad Campaign and 20 Billboards Flood Hong Kong's Financial District.

The bull run of bitcoin in 2020 and next year will help bitcoin expands to more areas over the globe, from megacities to remote areas.

There is trouble abrewing

it is as effective as all the rest of the advertisements (like for example the other picture advertising a cleaning product in the ad right beside the bitcoin exchange ad). there isn't anything different about a bitcoin related business when it comes to advertising.

it spreads the word, creates brand recognition and possibly makes people who are looking for that service to choose the one that is being advertised instead of the competition!

Luno is a digital exchange platform ,it has lots of feature wallet, easy trade
etc,  I call them Africa coinbase 😊honestly I have friends who do use it but I haven't , their platform increase it price of cyrpto currency , like during the lock down their price of eth and BTC were really above it actual price in other exchange, no offense to any one am just saying for  the little I know about it, but they are reliable, and secure as my friends says.
Down in Africa  method has been really effective ,the also helped in informing us about crypto but the issue of
" No private key " . That why I said it another coinbase  and the use BVN ( Bank Verification Number ) like KYC.
as for their stats I don't know

Cool pics indeed. Such companies will never run out of cool ideas when it comes to marketing.

I just don't know how their services work since some of their users reported lots of issues : ))

That's nice it looks like some people are starting to accept Bitcoin I think local Advertisement would increase Bitcoin awareness especially to users who are not into technology it's a good way to let them be curious what Bitcoin is.

Hello
Not only that , I was teaching kids from age 3-9 , apparently one kid was already taking a course on cryptocurrencies like bitcoins , I was actually shocked since he should be around 5-6 year old but at the same time he did know about bitcoins and cryptocurrencies as a whole. I think people are for sure taking bitcoins seriously. People like us who are on the form might be directly and indirectly teaching kids about crypto like bitcoins. What you did see was a very good example of **acceptance**, when a company reaches a status which is enough to put their advertising on the busses in London , this for sure attracts a lot of attention and would impact bitcoins positively.

Here some images I found on google ' company's name is Luno.

At the same time if someone is interested apparently we are not the only one to notice , there is a whole article on coindesk : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-exchanges-flood-londons-metro-with-adverts%3famp=1

At the same time it's not just Luno but coinfloor too doing such Campaigns.

In fact, it was very easy to find out what it was about - I think I even saw someone post that news a few days ago. In short, here's what it's all about :

Coinfloor, the U.K.’s longest-running exchange, launched a mix of large digital billboards and posters across London’s main tube stations. Meanwhile, Luno, the crypto exchange recently acquired by Digital Currency Group (also the owner of CoinDesk), combines its London Underground ads with 650 Greater London buses and a bunch of large roadside billboards.

Not only have big investors realized it’s time to invest in Bitcoin, everyone in the crypto sector seems to have decided it’s the right time to promote - and public transportation in such big cities is definitely a good choice for advertising.

Was nice to see a red bus in South London pass advertising for a bitcoin startup.
It was called something like UNO.

I am not sure.
Unfortunately was not able to take a pic.

Nice and exciting to see the bitcoin logo and colour on the London Bus ads.

Does anyone know the same of this crypto startup? I think was called uno or ono or 0no...
