Never mind, after resetting the wallet a few more times it appears to have resolved itself, thanks to anyone who read, much appreciated.
Using Multibit HD

Used exactly the same process as usual, same default transaction fee etc, had this happen twice before, repaired the wallet and all was well, I assume this is the only way to reset the chain in HD? Either way the transaction shows as a red X and states that it is waiting for info from the chain, any help at all would be much appreciated, my knowledge here is poor at best.
