The answer is a flat NO. In order to have a militia you need a centralised org controlling the militia - and that's the exact opposite of the purpose of bitcoin.

Well maybe that happens and hidden to the public but the chance of it happening will be 40%.  Grin
yes any military action had to be a secret. and all transactions in any bitcoin is anonymouse. it fits in well if it is true that the military support by bitcoin to make every transaction.

Fascism is when your currency is backed by military power. Imperialism is when you implement the means for it. The USD is one of the greatest examples. An economy based on military power cannot survive because eventually the cost for sustaining the military is more than what it can yield.

I think with the mass surveillance BTC will be under control of the slave masters by 2025...

We stand no chance.. 90% of people want to be slaves.. Freedom is dying.

As long as the US requires those countries to pay for our military and hardware with USD, the currency will have backing"

Can also BTC have backing from some sort of militia?

Do you really think without a weapon support can BTC survive?

With everything that Bitcoin has achieved so far, do you think some form of an armed force is needed to back up Bitcoin and make it successful? What for?

Ok. Think that way: To protect all paper money (fiat): The State is that organization in society which attempts to maintain a monopoly of the use of force and violence in a given territorial area; in particular, it is the only organization in society that obtains its revenue not by voluntary contribution or payment for services rendered but by coercion. While other individuals or institutions (Bitcoin miners for example) obtain their income by production of goods and services and by the peaceful and voluntary sale of these goods and services to others, the State obtains its revenue by the use of compulsion; that is, by the use and the threat of the jailhouse and the bayonet. Having used force and violence to obtain its revenue, the State generally goes on to regulate and dictate the other actions of its individual subjects. One would think that simple observation of all States through history and over the globe would be proof enough of this assertion; but the miasma of myth has lain so long over State activity that elaboration is necessary.

So, at some point militia support will be needed to protect BTC. It is inevitable. What do you think?

With everything that Bitcoin has achieved so far, do you think some form of an armed force is needed to back up Bitcoin and make it successful? What for? It's going ok all on its own. What started as a little experiment has become an all new asset class in itself. It's paving the way to build a new economy based on decentralization, disruption and people empowerment.

Crypto can even disrupt the 'disruptors' like Uber or AirBnb.

Well maybe bitcoin can be backed by some sort of militia but all that the world knows that bitcoin is backed with hashes but it is possible that it can also be backed by some sort of militia whatsoever. Well I also think that bitcoin can survive without a weapon support on its own.  Grin

As I as know bitcoin are backed by hash power, decentralized servers and the internet. Internet is nuclear resistant. But you can form your own militia if you want to back bitcoin.
