FreightJoe You are spot on right, I could not agree with you more. The economy plays an important role in the value of Bitcoin and currency value spikes and crashes.

So why don't sell all these scam coins? Why do you own them? Why do you even bother to visit this forum? Why did you even bother to make this post? If BTC is doomed, why are you even here?  Huh

Because this is all he does, day after day , trolling and throwing everything he's got at Bitcoin.
Every thread he creates lacks both logic and common sense, he tries to make parallels where there is nothing, he bends the truth better than Bender Smiley.

The bets thing to do is just ignore him and lave him alone, butt hurt that he took the wrong decision and not bought when BTC was 20x cheaper.

If you prefer fiat money, there's still plenty of it out there.

Free? I would really love a place like "All the fiat you can carry for 5$".  Cheesy
But probably you would have to make reservations one decade earlier.

With Bitcoin and the blockchain the old rules of economy no longer applies

And I like it that way only. We have to change as the time is changing and its better way to capture the good economic condition. Im more or less liking this idea of blockchain and running everything the way we want and without the ruling of government or some sort of authorities. I mean this gives freedom, freedom that people use to have earlier on how much wealth they can earn and keep it for themselves. I believe in all these things now, and hope that it works the same way as it is working right now.

Bitcoin is better money.  Nobody has to transfer their wealth to Bitcoin, but some of us want to.
If you prefer fiat money, there's still plenty of it out there.
This time, it is different for me.

The thing is that this time, bitcoin's innovation is only dependent on existing infrastructure in terms of being successful in price. But speculation is not part of its innovation. Bitcoin' disruption is already in place and being proven every second it works. This time WAS different and there's no question, because as long as Bitcoin is alive there is proof that there is no need for the existing finance sector to approve of it.

A vast number of people in here keep claiming that the pricing of Bitcoin is something new.

With Bitcoin and the blockchain the old rules of economy no longer applies

Basically that this time it is different.

Sounds great - but it is not true.

Here is a solid well-researched book that looks at the developments in economy over the last 800 years.

A lot of radical and disruptive innovations came during these 800 years

But the conclusion is simple: From the economic side it is never different.

So Bitcoin, like any other disruptive invention in the past 800 years will undergo an initial bubble of irrationality, then crash
