I'm just wondering about bitcoin-to-goods services that exist like Gyft and bitfash that I read about. Indeed this does help with purchasing things for bitcoin while the company doesn't accept bitcoin. But do they see these third-party companies as a purchase with bitcoin or USD/etc.? Does any metric exist to say "These guys purchased $10000 of gift cards last month, and it looks like they deal in bitcoin purchases, maybe we should look into this?"
The bigger question of course is fostering Bitcoin adoption and how to go about it.
