Anyone else use this? I think it is perfect for keeping Bitcoins a p2p transaction but it relies on an existing user base otherwise it is worthless. People wont want to install plugins before they can shop. Anyone have ideas to increase use?

What is Bitcoin Tool?

Bitcoin Tool is a browser extension for Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer, that recognizes bitcoin addresses on every website, and does some useful things with them:
* Links addresses to blockexplorer.com, something for curious people, who want to examine quickly BTC sent, received, and the number of transactions.
* Adds a Select button, that helps when you want to copy-paste the address, making sure no letter is omitted.
* Adds a Send BTC button, that allows for quick and secure sending bitcoins (requires bitcoin_httpd).

Modified bitcoin addresses look like this:

Installation Guide

How to install it on Firefox:
1. Install Greasemonkey.
2. Install Bitcoin Tool.

How to install it on Chrome:
1. On Chrome Greasemonkey scripts are built-in, so you need only to install Bitcoin Tool.

How to install it on Internet Explorer:
1. Install Trixie.
2. Click the Install button on the Bitcoin Tool website, and save the script to Program Files/Trixie/Scripts .
3. Open Tools/Trixie, click Reload and OK.

How to make the Send BTC button work:
1. Set rpcuser and rpcpassword in your bitcoin.conf file. Do one of the three:
  a) either run the standard client application bitcoin.exe with the parameter "-server",
  b) or put "server=1" into your bitcoin.conf, and run bitcoin.exe,
  c) or run bitcoind.exe (included in your standard bitcoin client package).
2. Download and run the HTTP mini-server bitcoind_httpd.exe:
Windows version - bitcoin_httpd.exe v1.1 (size 238668, md5sum: da0107ce32aaceb16055c8d147663519)
Linux version - bitcoin_httpd v1.1 (size 642897, md5sum: 84aae8bab4db4ab52d0a15dfe9861ef7)

The source code of bitcoin_httpd is here, if you need it.
