It wouldn't be surprising for him to accept BTC again in the future but the Doge community will be upset if he doesn't continue trolling. It's strategic for him to do it. He has Tesla Stocks to manipulate and he also has Doge to play around with.

I will see that it is possible that Elon stated that he will accept Doge and BTC to have more profit opportunities, he is the one who will do that for the next time in my opinion, if he only said that only BTC was received it would cause an uproar among the Dogecoin community because they no longer receive any more attention from Elon and the statement that Dogen is a coin cheating Elon will get stronger and he will be prosecuted for his actions at international institutions maybe because he has deceived many people with the dog coin, most likely Elon made a statement accepting bitcoin and doge for his safety if he wants to do it again.

Musk is a businessman, and he has Bitcoin holdings as far as I know.  It is obvious that they will ride this uptrend and make a profit from it.  We might find Musk getting involved in Bitcoin promotion once again aside from him hyping Dogecoin.

Aside from that, Bitcoin may take some time before it hits $40k since it is still $9k+ of price climbe before it reaches $40k and I feel that Musk has lost most of his influence on Bitcoin market when he focused on promoting Dogecoin.

Elon Musk may not have control over the bitcoin market and is not like any other altcoin he thinks to maneuver over the time just for his selfish interest on that particular project. Even if he resume accepting bitcoin yes it's a positive impact on a bitcoin growth but doesn't solely depends on him to make a new wave.

Indeed, Musk has lost his most of his influence on Bitcoin market.  We had seen how the market reacts recently when he released a statement about Bitcoin.  The market almost has no reaction at all.

Well viewing clearly there is every tendency it could hit to 40k if we didn't make our prediction correctly, if it could have a sudden price change within the period of January to April from ~17k+ to $30,400 which is about ~40 percent increase within the interproximal space of 4 months what more of 9k plus for touching the hand of $40k. Well let's be positive about bitcoin price and its progression.

Speaking of Musk though, for sure majority of us remember when they sold their Bitcoin stash. And I know some of us says that it's not a big mistake on his part, but it was a $500 million lost for them right now.

Quote
The price of Bitcoin has grown by more than 50% since Tesla unveiled its approximately $1-billion BTC sales in July 2022. In other words, the Elon Musk-owned electric carmaker would have made an additional $500 million if it had waited until today to sell.

Just another lesson that we should be holder and look for our Bitcoin investments for long term, specially for average Joe like the majority of us.

I was like, no he didn’t… Funny. Thanks for quickly pointing out that this isn’t a current article. I don’t think DOGE fans can be upset with him. He’s done a lot for them and his souvenir shop is one of the few places DOGE is accepted. I am curious when he’ll accept BTC for cars again. Really hoping I can pay for a Cybertruck with BTC.

Mhen!!! I thought this was real, as soon as I saw the title of the thread I ran straight to my wallet to check if it was true only to find the price still at ~$30300.
Op,  please when next you're sharing an article make sure you confirm the date of publication and also how relevant it is to the current time. Because what you did right now is a sign that you didn't even bother to go through what you shred to the forum, you just saw "Elon Musk" and "bitcoin" and decided to share without verifying the contents.
Probably a click bait.  Cheesy
I also though OP is talking about the current price but upon seeing the article, it looks like he’s traveling back in time. Well, this is how Elon works with crypto since then, purely manipulation and a hype. What we are seeing right now is a good price trend which backs up from a good volume, there’s no big hype yet the market pumps, this is a good sign for Bitcoin.

I'm unsure if the OP intends to incite FOMO, but his approach to it in promoting Bitcoin isn't ideal. By sharing old article links and presenting them as recent, they may mislead readers about Bitcoin's current price. I was surprised when I read about Bitcoin's value of 40K because I had just checked its price on Binance before reading the post. As for Elon Musk, I don't trust his unpredictable behavior. It seems he's currently more interested in Dogecoin than Bitcoin. It's possible he might accept Dogecoin as a payment method before Bitcoin.
And possibly he misses reading the whole article, particularly the date. And this article won't have any influence on us investors knowing that Elon Musk is not a supporter of Bitcoin but an enemy. In fact, he is just doing this to gain interest and support his company but in the end, he promotes Dogecoin and it booms.
I'm not quite sure about accepting Bitcoin because if it is already on his mind, he started accepting it 5 years ago or 2 years ago but he did not.

I got excited when I saw the thread title, I check the bitcoin price a lot & was sure I hadn’t seen the price go above 40k. I thought maybe it was a wick on a 5 minute candle that retraced as quick as it appeared & I had missed it. Dumb me for falling for it though.

The good thing is that we will 100% see bitcoin at 40k & it could be this year, hey it could even be this quarter. Bitcoin is the apex predator swallowing up investors money.

I’m not too bothered about Elon Musk accepting bitcoin with TESLA, that’s kind of irrelevant now.

I feel you bro, that was exactly what caught my atttention, the topic of the thread, i actually taught that bitcoin has reached or even break past the 40k mark. But to my suprised its just an misunderstood title and the whole information on the thread is just an old information that has already been past and something that the case with most information past here although atleast i can relate to what others might have felt when they actually came across this thread. But on the bright of it bitcoin is actually climbing gradually to 40k and it has breach 31k today and looking more promising everyday.

It is highly unlikely he will be manipulating the Tesla stocks after SEC was after him and now the heat will be much higher if he does anything with the stock market after he purchased Twitter. In the cryptocurrency space he might be doing that indirectly like the recent logo change in Twitter with Doge and so on but he will be doing them at the right moment rather than random manipulation  Grin.

This is old news and of course misleading, because it was left behind 2 years ago.

OP, you didn't do well, your topic title and your post is really misleading Grin I don't know if this is a prank or some sorts of April fool but when I read through it.
I suspect he didn't research this news, even if it was a joke then his words wouldn't be like this, April Fools is already too late. Grin

As for Elon Musk, I don't trust his unpredictable behavior. It seems he's currently more interested in Dogecoin than Bitcoin. It's possible he might accept Dogecoin as a payment method before Bitcoin.
There is no further news about Tesla accepting bitcoin or Doge as payment, but what is clear lately is that Elon Musk has been tweeting more about Doge, maybe it's also a hard code where when the Twitter logo is replaced with the doge symbol.
But I will never follow his behavior which always influences the market. Cheesy

I thought I was late to something and haven't heard about the jump of the price of bitcoin which was 30k around 3PM EST, thought I missed out. To OP, I think you should check out the date of the article because it's misleading in a way. Good thing that I didn't know that Tesla hasn't been using bitcoin as payment for their products and services so in a way, I was still informed.

LONDON/SINGAPORE: Bitcoin climbed above $40,000 on Monday, after yet another weekend of price swings following tweets from Tesla boss Elon Musk, who fended off criticism over his market influence and said Tesla sold bitcoin but may resume transactions using it.

Bitcoin has gyrated to Musk's views for months since Tesla announced a $1.5 billion bitcoin purchase in February and said it would take the cryptocurrency in payment. He later said the electric car maker would not accept bitcoin due to concerns over how mining the currency requires high energy use and contributes to climate change.

"When there's confirmation of reasonable (~50%) clean energy usage by miners with positive future trend, Tesla will resume allowing Bitcoin transactions," Musk said on Twitter on Sunday.

Bitcoin, which jumped nearly 10% on Sunday, breaking above its 20-day moving average, was up 4.3% on Monday at 40,692.27, its first foray above $40,000 in more than two weeks.
