Indeed that was a very high that BTC hit considering it was going low. But then again it dropped again and we're back to 65k~

The price is going to touch back INR 75k sooner because the pattern seems to be making a double-top with this, which is why the prices are increasing.
So lately, but there are chances still that we will see the price to be roaming around 75k back in Feb or March.

Now the rates have been dropped significantly.

As per other threads which are discussing the bitcoin price fluctuation globally, it seems that prices of bitcoin are heavily influenced by chinese bitcoin market. Chinese bitcoin exchange markets are the biggest and most significant markets in the bitcoin world.   Thus any any impact like social, economical, political related to bitcoin in China affects global bitcoin prices. Recent decision from the Chinese govt to investigate the bitcoin exchanges in China resulted in slumped bitcoin prices

Check the huobi bitcoin exchange market.

Some how threads discussing bitcoin reaching specific value holds less significance than thread discussing reasons behind price changes.

It reached more than INR 79k here in India when the price was $1200 in International markets.
This has all been possible due to demonetization that we are seeing nearly 5-10% high rates in India than International markets.
