Sometimes, the prediction or suggestions was a big help to make a decision, but we cannot always rely on prediction, but i also agree that a chart is very useful. sometimes i read some news and ask some friends who is also bitcoin user. i also use twitter. read and retweet on twitter. and sometimes i watch on you tube.. i do not rely on one basis only but look on the wide horizons.

It is also much better to look at the ANN section here on bitcointalk of the said coin. There also updates here of devs on what is going on,a swap is scheduled and so forth. You can not rely on trollbox because there are pump and dump squad who are doing the marketing. Just be aware and be updated always.

check its graph and also selling it when I earn profit already.

Usually i don't follow any predictions or suggestions regarding market move and try to take own decision. Looking at charts, daily high low, volume, volume on dump/pump and level of dump/pump, ATH and looking chart in different time frames (long and short terms) give overall idea to predict possible price move.

Mostly the fresh info came from twitter or other social media platform, then articles to read with detailed information are the news sites.  But basically whenever there is a tweet about bitcoins and other cryptorelated stuff, there is always an article link to it. Though the information dissemination depends who you are following.

Yes twitter or better tweetdeck is a great tool for keeping yourself updated with the freshest news.
There are several tutorials out there which can use to setup your personal tweetdeck.
I can only recommend doing so as news and rumors play a very important role in the world of trading.
Nothing more is needed as you can use several channels to get feeded with input.

"News" on stock market performance (basically price of stocks or shares that vary based on news), News on social media like Facebook and Twitter, news about events and happenings that could affect market stock prices and market analysis tools from. All of these help me speculate the price of Bitcoin. I also prefer many news sources like CoinDesk and /r/bitcoinmarkets for peoples opinion and discussions on Bitcoin happenings and price speculations. I would also have a look at the simple moving averages on bitcoin wisdom and estimate the possible future price of Bitcoin (although I'm not very good at it). There are a couple of good tools on Bitcoinwisdom to analyze the price of Bitcoin that you can check. Learn about how to use them on investopedia (Technical analysis on SMA)

No, social medias are bit slower unless it is from official people.
I'm having newsletter subscription to prime bitcoin and crypto currency news feeds. They're helping me to have latest update which are very much useful for my bitcoin trading.

I believe, you need to generate for yourself.
Because, for continuous trading recommendation this is not advisable to depend on third parties. If you learn trading strategies and tools, you will be able to make trading decisions for your needs like whenever you want hourly or daily or long term position trading also.

I have stopped with day trading, because it has become to time consuming and risky. I have a full-time job and cannot time my swing in between all the other work I have to do on a daily basis. So I will mostly gather some information from r/Bitcoin on Reddit to get a daily overview and then compare that with Bitcointalk's Press section to see if I missed something.

I then read the articles of interest to safe some time. ^smile^

i think the best resource for getting information and then deciding on how to trade is from the charts and what you can see on the orderbooks! and that is what i use.

all the rest of the news and hype floating around is like a secondary information for me and i usually get if from here or reddit.

I am position trader. Usually I don't deal with swing of scalping trades. But I gather my info from various news sites (all general cryptocurrency news sites, don't stick to one, browse them all),
forums (bitcointalk, reddit, bitcoin.com) and other sites (www.icocountdown.com - sometimes new big ICO will affect bitcoin price).
General rule - the more information you read and absorb - the higher chance is you will understand how market will react.

That is correct, gathers more info as you can as it can really help.I have many sources and to add from what you mentions, join their facebook group and their group chat even their  slack group or skype. It is better to know where the coin is heading.

I don't do a ton of trading, however from what I do I use twitter to see some information that people are talking about, and buy/sell based on the information that has a heavier prominence in discussions. Otherwise, for the actual numbers, I just watch exchanges and see what the trends and active trades are like.

Twitter can be a good source of picking up trends.
If you are looking for technical charts, then it is best to stick to the exchange which you trade in.

I usually use reddit to watch the bitcoin news, other than that, I look at videos from different channels, there are some channels that cover altcoins, always looking for the next good investment to get some BTCs out of.

For deeper bitcoin knowledge, andreas antonopulos youtube channel is good.
