I believe it depends on certain things especially your Country. In general, there is no doubt that Coinbase is one of the BEST option when it comes to Cryptos, but it could be different depending on your country.

You can check on Cryptolinks, as they have listed all top Crypto Trading platforms, which can be very helpful for you when it comes to making the selection. As I said it MUST be entirely based upon your comfort levels.

do you mean you want to make web based platforms for trading like market exchange? or make another bot to trading? if it is a bot, then maybe you can see how it looks like on other bot trading that already exist. by the way, i am only using web based platform on market exchange and i don't use any bots.
I want more of a graphical interface than a bot, I found the following site which offers a SDK for maybe starting something, but still would be a lot of work to get many exchanges linked in http://www.bitcoinmetatrader.com/

Looks like I need to carry on with some more research =)
I don't think so, and until this timei never seeing the site is especially for linked a lot of exhange into 1 site, maybe are you refers like in the x site you can see the poloniex and bittrex at same time? or linked with the two site with sync?

Hi All,

I've been trading across a few exchanges for a while now, and was thinking about writing my own platform using the API's to combine the exchanges together and add some advanced charting and analysis - but then was wondering if something like that already exists since it would be a rather large project for my free time - and I'd rather use the time to trafe.

I've seen a solution called coinigy which claims to do something similar to what I was - but there isn't too much information about it on here - so would feel reluctant to trust my account credentials with such a service.

Are any people on here using any specialist, trusted platforms - or is it more common just to use the web front ends that are provided by the exchanges?

Thanks for your help

this sounds interesting to me.
there are already bots that have most of the exchanges and you only put your API keys in it and trade, but not an online platform. using a bot you have to run it on your system which then have to be on but on an online platform like a website it can be run 24/7 which sounds good.

the only thing similar that comes to my mind is https://cryptrader.com/ which I used a while back but the functionality of it was so limited and I was not willing to pay for the other account.

Thanks, I'll take a look at cryptatrader - and do some more research on metatrader too. It might be that if a plugin doesn't exist for meta trader I can write my own which means I only need to concentrate on the exchange API's rather than the GUI, charting and technical analysis (although they are the most fun parts to develop)

I am quite sure that well experienced traders have themselves developed something similar as it may help them with trading. So far I haven't seen an exchange actually offering such a feature.

Wouldn't it be a better idea if you just make a program or a website that people can use to do exactly that?

You can choose to have people use basic features for free, and the more advanced features for a small amount.

I think that's much better and easier than building an exchange from scratch.

I may have to create something myself if there isn't anything around (in fact I already started - but things are rather slow, as I prefer to spend my spare time trading rather than developing - as that's my day job)

What you trying to develop actually is still unknown from your post, you better explain it and i guess that you are trying to open trading platform like poloneix, bittrex, kraken, btc-e or crypto exchange platform just like shapeshift.io. In both case, i think it will require lot of effort as well as money to build and to start those platforms & building trust.

I'm looking for a single graphical user interface that can work across multiple exchanges- for example a desktop app that enables you to see charts and balances on multiple exchanges, and enables you to transfer between them and trade on each exchange. The only thing I've seen so far that does this is coinigy. Maybe there is some plugin for metatrader which is very popular for forex.

Where do you buy the bots for the trading?
