If by account, you mean an exchange then the transaction should show in your withdrawal history page with the address, TXID (use it as said above) and assuming that It's not displayed there, It still make no sense because If you withdrew the funds to your personal wallet like Electrum, Mycelium etc. the transaction should still show even without confirmations. You can help us more by providing the services you used.

Welcome to these forums, because it seems you're new.

Bitcoin transactions take time to confirm. That's the reason you send the miners fee. When the transaction is being added to the blockchain, it also gets confirmations. This basically ensures that you won't be able to take back the transaction, allowing for full security for both the seller and the buyer.
