I guess I just don't use bitcoin anymore Wink

I mean are u serious? This site says I should spend nearly $6 US Dollar for a transaction. Thats WAAAAY to expensive. I can put the money in a package and send it physical with an express service for this fee. No reason for bitcoin at all. At least I can't see one. Everything is cheaper than this.

Newbie RIP to you. There are many people invested in bitcoin and making their mainstream income from bitcoin.
Which wallet you are using. I see that in blockchain wallet which shows the fees as 0.003 only for the transaction but last week transaction fee is around 0.0011 BTC.
If block size increased this issue will be recovered even you no need to worry about it.

I think you should get your coins back if it takes 7 or 14 days and they are still not confirmed but I am not 100% sure.

You can also use an accelerator, there are paid ones but also some people that do it for free.

You can try to use this one:
https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

Although when I tried to do it with your TXID for you it said your transaction fee was too low.
I guess that's the reason why confirmtx didn't respond when the OP tried to accelerate the transaction.
Patrick, it will better if you use the bitcoin transaction fee prediction https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ next time to avoid this kind of situation because miners are picky this days.

Anyways, I've quequed your transaction in Antpool and confirmtx so expect it to get confirmed within a few hours.
Uh thanks very much. How did u do that? Do u know ppl from there? Smiley ConfirmTx I already tried a few days ago though. Unfortunately didnt do anything

lets see if ConfirmTx can really stand up for his name, there was a bit ruckus on his thread.
I also have a few stuck txs about same BTC (~250k sats) with ~1sat/byte fee but 3k in size
they are still unconfirmed to this day ~18 days  Shocked and still displayed on bc.info and blocktrail
I will probably try do CPFP when I really really really need them later, for now let them sits on mempool  Grin

Whenever you send someone Bitcoins, the transaction goes through different computers running the Bitcoin protocol around the world that make sure the transaction is valid. Once the transaction is verified it then “waits” inside the Mempool (i.e. in some sort of a “limbo” state).

No I'm not affiliated wiith them, I'm just another user who also uses their service. Here's a list of sites where you can accelerate your transaction for free however please note that each of them have some prerequisite/s [I've also listed them].

---Snip--

Antpool [An account is needed - Free registration]
Viabtc [Your transaction should have a minimum of  0.0001BTC/KB (10 sat/byte) included fee]
Confirmtx [Only transactions under 400bytes are free]

Not sure what's happening on confirmtx but yesterday their free acceleration service was halted. Hmmm.. Anyways, I'll take note of that thanks.

Thanks for the link.

https://blockchain.info/de/pushtx
say: Transaction already exists

https://coinb.in/#broadcast
shows a txid that is the same as before.

So I guess this didn't do anything?
How do you know about the 2 weeks it will take? I mean, if I have to wait another week its not a big deal, just would not be great if its stuck forever. I don't even need it to be transfered... A cancel would be good to, then I cash it out differently...

I'm kind of disappointed of bitcoin anyway atm. When I started using it it was pretty great, but with current transaction fees it kind of got useless. Its just way to expensive. Every other method is cheaper and in many cases faster as well.

LOL.

this one is working http://blockr.io/tx/push and you forgot it.  Grin

Rebroadcasting a transaction is just like what it says, Everytime you did it, your transaction will get rebroadcasted to the netowrk again. It helps the miners not to forget your transaction because if a transaction has remained unconfirmed for too long it will get dropped by most nodes as a result it'll be as if your transaction never happened so the coins should return to its original wallet.

Anyways, I've quequed your transaction in Antpool and confirmtx so expect it to get confirmed within a few hours.

Hi,

I already read a lot about the topic, but unfortunately no solution fits for me.
I made a transaction from blockchain.info to XAPO (ID: dcfe968e69f8c29440a83dca30593e33351683b43deaa86791416455684aa3dd)
I know I did set the fee way too low. I was busy and the recommended $4 fee for a $20 transaction seemed not fair at all to me, so I just lowered it without spending much thoughts on it.

Is this money lost? I mean it seems not to get canceled and I also see no way of processing it any further e.g. by boosting the fee, because the used services just don't offer options for it.

Kind regards,
Patrick

Your fee is not the recommended amount to send BTC in normal speed, Only 0.00000226 BTC used for the of your transaction so don't be surprised that it will take for a week because the fastest time for this transaction will be complete was 2 weeks. Try to rebroadcast it.

 Try this guide: https://www.google.com.ph/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=10&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjap4i8n9HXAhXJX5QKHb7-BkEQFghcMAk&url=http%3A%2F%2Fneocashradio.com%2Fblog%2Fhow-to-rebroadcast-a-transaction-on-blockchain-info%2F&usg=AOvVaw3MvGm1Qtsl9rb0kXUtuCse

I hope that it can help a bit.
