Yes, I think that in the future, most of the buying and selling operations will be using cryptocurrencies, because their use greatly facilitates the transfer of funds within the country and across borders as well, and sending and receiving them is very safe, so there is no fear after today of theft simply because it is intangible and decentralized.

Congratulations on your purchase through bitcoin. This is a positive experience for you whilst the others, they're pointing out the negative which is a fact about the fees.

Everyone is free to do whatever they want with the bitcoin they hold. It's really meant for payments but this time due to the fees, it's getting harder but that's not it, we have lightning network which is not yet popular but time will come that it will.

So true ,because with time even the fees will be reduced as more medium of exchange will be introduce into the market to cause competition it will thereby lead to reduction in price charge
But the fact that it's made for it won't change.

It's just that the time has changed a lot this time and its use haven't decreased yet became more conventional due to the situation that it's dealing with.

I thing the main idea was paying bitcoin without banks or cash.Definitely, if you buy something from a person you don't know, you shouldn't trust him.
But on some popular websites, where you can pay cards, pay by bitcoin is a great opportunity. For example amazon or some local popular shops. And these shops should have mechanism to proof your payment.

There's, hereby, a false thought of what Bitcoin creates. It doesn't make the buyer/seller you're dealing with trustworthy. On the contrary, I'd prefer if the unknown person accepted PayPal along with Bitcoin, because my transaction would be reversible.

To put it simply, Bitcoin creates a trustless network of computers agreeing on the same truth, without having any intermediate who would enforce his own rules. There are no trusted third parties to process electronic payments, this is what Bitcoin creates. You'd always need an escrow service to ensure that you'll both transact cooperatively, though.

Humans' trust in each other is not a problem solved with a peer-to-peer electronic cash system, neither with a blockchain, alas!

Bitcoin doesn't create trusts between merchants and buyers, no not at all. Bitcoin is just a currency and a medium of payment on the web. Its got nothing to do with a trust system.
You've got everything to do with whom you choose to trust or not, out of a long or short term belt relationship over whatever base. No doubt, haven't done some transactions with someone could be a base but, its got nothing to do with the payment system but, has everything to do with the ability of the services required to be rendered or product delivered.

So, you've got to be mindful of your dealing with people and sometimes companies you meet on the web. They could be impostors and at times, they pretend to be legit and deliver products involving little amount in other to build trust and prepare to scam you when the huge amounts starts coming in.

It's a good payment option to have and it works as an online transaction actually, one of the problems was just the transaction fees, maybe doing individual transactions in your own business is great because your also investing at the same time.

But I'm afraid that spending bitcoin might not be the best thing to do at this moment because it happened to be before after spending a certain amount of bitcoin, after a few years when the market price of bitcoin was so high your gonna see all of your past transaction and what is the value of that bitcoin in the present and it will be a big regret.

Doing transactions online is always prone to scammers and that is just one of the disadvantages of using bitcoin because it doesn't guarantee anything after paying maybe if it is used in a company but in an individual transaction there wasn't really any assurance. I was hoping to see a  trading transaction where both can request and approve a transaction in the future.

Sooner or later, you'll encounter a scammer that will take your money and disappear, if you're not careful. Will you say that "bitcoin divides people" or "bitcoin creates distrust among people"? Bitcoin is just a tool, it has some properties that make it different from traditional payment methods, but scamming happens with fiat channels too, so every time you send someone a Visa transaction or bank wire, you also trust them that they will uphold their end of the deal.

Wait a minute, that person you are dealing with is simply trustworthy. It is not because of Bitcoin. And I advise you not to easily trust just anybody simply because the transaction involves Bitcoin. Once you send your Bitcoin to the wrong person, you cannot get it back.

Bitcoin does not encourage us to trust our fellowmen. Satoshi once said, "The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that's required to make it work." Bitcoin is trying to eliminate certain points of trust.

As opposed to the idea that Bitcoin unifies the world, I think Bitcoin is actually disrupting that unity. We used to be united around the fiat system. We had no alternative back then. With Bitcoin, that unity is interrupted to a significant extent.
Very knowledgeable reply, I to did not see how bitcoin made the transaction successful, it was just two clean individual concluding a deal, bitcoin was only used in place of any other payment, and it's adviceable not to be complacent next time with the individual or any other individual.

But about bitcoin disrupting the world I would say it's part of many disruption that will be a bitter medicine, but with results, the world disruption started with languages, and even in Fiat we have difference in between countries and that's another disruption, and if bitcoin causes any disruption it will just be a phase leading to unity, am not if the theory of a world without Fiat but I believe in a world where everyone would be free to use bitcoin.

I'm sorry to disappoint you OP but you could have easily been scammed. You're lucky you dealt with a honest person..scammers are attracted to Bitcoin because they believe and love the idea of anonymity. I'm glad you had a good experience but be sure to be careful in the future. Don't trust random people you meet online just because they claim to be crypto enthusiasts.
No currency can unify the world or bring about world peace. I think people exaggerate what Bitcoin is about and can do.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with your opinion.
Also, anonymity is associated with bitcoin, so it is very difficult to reveal the identity of the person who cheated on you.
Also, no one directly controls bitcoin, unlike fiat money.
For many, it’s the perfect scenario until something happens and they lose money.
After all, bitcoin is becoming more and more an investment and less and less a means of payment.

Yes, using Bitcoin for payments in different products or services are almost the same with using such online payment like your credit cards, debit cards or PayPal.
Once the transaction is confirmed (more number confirmations on Bitcoin network) is good to go, the seller already received your Bitcoin payment.
Different entities now are slowly accepting Bitcoin as their payment method for their products or services, which is extremely good.
