We all know, unlimited bitcoin is not the best option, it does not really bring much effect, and currently it is causing the BTC serious price cuts. Segwit was the best and most optimal choice for bitcoin; however, it was not adopted, it was because of the greed of the miners, and again, because of their greed, they had proposed BTU, this just to satisfy their greed, I really feel aversion to them. They are greedy and selfish.

CORE gave pools the vote.. blame core for trying to skip the safe steps of real consensus.
if nodes voted first. to then give pools confidence of what pools producing would get accepted. then pools would have flagged desire.

but core new it couldnt reach its "fix" promises. pools and node users seen that cores promises were empty half gestures.
thus no point changing to something of a complete rewrite, which requiring 100% movement of funds to new tx styles just to even attempt to disarm the issues that were 'promised'.. nowing that 100% would never be achieved was yet another failure by core.

dont blame the pools. it was core that decided to sidestep the community.. the pools didnt do anything. (and thats cores problem)

maybe its a cultural thing, being an aussie i was surprised the first time i saw the name bitcoin unlimited.

tis pretty  Undecided dumb

btcunlimited  Shocked

You have probably mentioned it against Bitcoin Unlimited its because you are on the side of segwit. Though bitcoin unlimited is not the best choice to cater the recent problems on bitcoin but let us respect their decision and their choice of terminologies. Its good to explain the disadvantages of using BU in solving blocks but it is never alright to criticize the works of others in a disrespectful manner.

not at all, now (and far in the past) i'd never been a fan of bitcoin in any of its flavors.

i've always said the only thing good to ever come out of the crypto community todate is; the idea.

Bear in mind OP, that only Aussies and Brits understand their own specific use of the "c" word.

British and Australian people do not refer to females with the "c" word as a matter of course, it's a cultural norm in Britain and Australia. Females and males both use the "c" word to describe men only, this is not even a matter of discussion amongst the Brits and the Aussies, everyone knows this rule without being told.

In the US and other English speaking countries, people do not have the same (more) benign usage of the "c" word, they actually use it as an insult to women, not as an insult to men (and even a term of endearment) like the Brits and the Aussies.

So, careful what you say Brits and Aussies, people might completely misunderstand the cultural differences that led you to using the "c" word, and rightfully assume you are being more insulting than you actually intend to be.

Rest of the world: learn a little more of the cultural diversity within the English language, especially native English speakers (who really should know better in this day and age)

yes tis why i made the cultural point.
 i do think maybe in the US etc the 'c' word is an insult at the highest level, yet here in aus mates will call each other (male, female whatever) 'c' as a almost even a (cheeky) term of endearment (as you rightfully pointed out).

so yeah much can be lost in translation even amongst english speaking nations.

now the term cunted in tis many meaning forms is a good adjective to describe bitcoin unlimited;

cunted;

1.  (vulgar, slang) Under the influence of illicit drugs or alcohol; drunk; high.
2.  (vulgar, slang) broken

so btcunlimited it tis  Kiss

What are you? 12 years old?

Somehow drawing a line through some of the letters in a name makes the code and concept somehow less worthwhile?

precisely why i made the point is that tis 12 year old mentality that rules the internet if u hadn't noticed  Undecided
