That's true. But there is still a need to change. It is like mass adoption when governments and people accept it. But now bitcoins are still regarded as digital currencies and are limited only to you. Unless it will replace you with cash. There are many more to be changed and the most necessary to do is to lose the banks and the currencies in our world. And replace the bitcoins here

That value is "WHEN" bitcoin becomes the currency in the whole world. But no one knows if it will be accepted as it is. What we are waiting is for the coin to be embraced by majority of the countries and for the country who initially banned it lift their ban. Let's just hope bitcoin will be successful in the future and yes keep hodling.

There are as many predictions it will crash and burn as those that say it will be worth gazillion dollars. No one sees crashes before they happen. Financial institutions could dump it so fast to cover other loses and we will have no idea until it plummets, just keep an eye on it and enjoy it while it lasts

This is a huge number. I think to reach this milestone is another 10 years. At present, the number of surviving bitcoins is very low for the population of 7 billion. This creates a bitcoin scarcity, which inevitably will increase bitcoin.

If you add these together and divide them by the total number of Bitcoin in circulation you get what Bitcoin's true value is once it becomes widespread adopted.
(7,829,183,704,925 + 75,000,000,000,000) / 21,000,000 = $3,944,246.84 per coin Cheesy

How did you arrive at this equation? Bitcoin is independent from gold and USD. I don't think their values would be a factor to Bitcoin's. The value itself isn't far-fetched, but there's no way to really accurately predict the actual number. We can't even predict the price from one hour away, let alone a century away. It's also worth noting that we have no clue exactly how much Bitcoins are in circulation, as plenty seem to have been lost forever -- this is a vital piece of information as Satoshi alone is estimated to have disappeared with around a million Bitcoins. I'm sure every single coin can affect the end value drastically. Either way, it's a pointless thought exercise. We'll know for sure when we get there, and we won't in our lifetimes.

I don't think that is how Bitcoin is truly evaluated and determined.  It would be absolutely amazing if Bitcoin was worth that but I don't think it will ever happen....Only time will tell and hopefully I am dead wrong cause I would have absolutely no complaints!

Well, that's assuming that Bitcoin is supposed to replace the monetary system at a 1:1 ratio, essentially. There is nothing that really makes it worth that much aside from having the entirety of the global economy get replaced by it.

And if we're going to start replacing commodities with tokens, then why are you not also including gold, silver, platinum, copper, oil, wheat, cattle, machinery, etc. in with your calculations? Gold is something that can be used industrially, and is rare. It has a bit more use in maintaining the blockchain than Bitcoin does itself.

Flying Hellfish is a Commie
Even those numbers are SO fantastic but it does not means that it will became true. A lot of financial advisors have been predicting that bitcoin was going to be over $100 thousand dollars, probably $200k, and there is nothing special with that.

I would be happy with seeing bitcoin over $50k, and that is my maximum goal, i mean, i would be almost realized to see all my portfolio to reach that amount of money (per bitcoin)

But are you sure that we are just a 3% of the total capitalization of gold? We are almost at 300 billion dollars, once that we hit the 1 trillion dollars, we would be pretty close to that mark.

Maybe in six years from now we are going to reach that milestone.

Link me to some of these 'financial advisors' that are saying stuff like this, I can bet big money that most of these people either have a stake in Bitcoin or have a stake in one of the big altcoins -- these claims are attempts to try to make the market move by using their name to their advantage.

Plus help me out on how you, or the article you were reading to get this information defines 'financial advisor' as the FEC probably has one that is very different to what you're going on.

This is insane, get outta here.

According to this site --> http://onlygold.com/Info/All-The-Gold-In-The-World.asp
The value of all the gold in the world is worth $7,829,183,704,925

According to this site --> https://www.quora.com/How-much-money-is-in-the-world
The value of all the dollars in circulation is $75,000,000,000,000

If you add these together and divide them by the total number of Bitcoin in circulation you get what Bitcoin's true value is once it becomes widespread adopted.
(7,829,183,704,925 + 75,000,000,000,000) / 21,000,000 = $3,944,246.84 per coin Cheesy

If Bitcoin doesn't scale this big and only beats gold then its value is:
7,829,183,704,925 / 21,000,000 = $372,818.27

Right now the market shows Bitcoin trading for $9,431.95.

If you believe bitcoin has 9,431.95 / 372,818.27 = 2.53% of exceeding the price of gold alone you should buy bitcoin. This doesn't even take in to account that Bitcoin could become a wide use medium of exchange which would make the needed percentage even lower.

tl;dr buy bitcoin and HODL!!

I don't understand your logic. Could you elaborate why should be BTC be worth as much as dollar and gold combined?

Why not combine also coal or silver? Why not Euro?
