Hi all,
Are we expecting a drop in price since China is going to ban crytpo by end of this month?
Well, that was in the past because the bitcoin is on another level. Bitcoin price has grown reaching up to $20,000 in the Mid-December 2018. Though, bitcoin went through another correction in the late December - the correction that lasted for about 2 works. thankfully, now the bitcoin is about to be fully recovered and everything would back to normal and keep heading to the moon.

Hi all,

Are we expecting a drop in price since China is going to ban crytpo by end of this month?

I think we are expecting this thing but base on what's happening, the opposite expectation is what's happening now. The price is increasing and if it is not those Chinese people are buying some more bitcoins now because they are getting ready for the next hard fork. If this is continuous we will see the price of bitcoin to be good and stable again at $4,000 and I love this to happen.
I would like to clarify your answer, do you think that Bitcoin can rise by 4,000 dollars, that is, to return its previous maximum figures of 20,000 dollars? Or do you think that the good price for Bitcoin is only 4000 dollars?

Always their will be a fluctuation in the bitcoin price,it's very common one.You have to use the option. No one will satisfy with the today.Obviously they want additional dollars for their holding bitcoin.Who say no to oney. When the investors in bitcoin is increases, the price of bitcoin is also increases.Actually now the price of bitcoin is recovering it's old value.

Having able to stand alone even China had an issue about banning bitcoin, it's price has able to recover. And now that Japan has legalized using bitcoin in their country, I expect an improvement on the price and will be waiting for more big announcements.
Japan legalizing bitcoin was quite old news.

Chinese ban on crypto exchanges and ICO is also quite old news.

There is no good news out there but price of bitcoin looks recovery, which can be actually a bad sign and can't be another strong bull run. Bitcoin price can go sideways and might also dump a bit before going up again.

After I saw the graph growth rates the value of bitcoin for higher now than the day yesterday at the time $3900 figure is bitcoin so value of bitcoin not fall again but rose again to the present has reached $4319. I hope in October will increase continuously price bitcoin terue by reaching $5500, this will occur on a bitcoin
Well hes talking about the end of the month which china has planned to release regulation and probably affect some exchanges and make them closing down their service.
but i must say that youre right, the price of bitcoin continously increasing by now and it's great.

Some of the news that i heard recently from China at the end of this september, evidently didn't affect of bitcoin price become a decreased, bitcoin instead continues to moving towards the higher. Hopefully it continues to leads to a higher up till reach $5000 on october despite accompanied by some slight decline.
As we can observe the bitcoin price is started to rise the value. Though the news recently from China is banning the cryptocurrency yet its not affect. Instead it started to rise and continue to be strong the bitcoin price.

Hi all,

Are we expecting a drop in price since China is going to ban crytpo by end of this month?

At this moment bitcoins is still rising up. China is banning bitcoins. China plans to ban altcoins and bitcoin is not affected by the crisis. Bitcoins are still blooming and I can expect a good value by the end of October. I don't know what China's thinking about banning altcoins. I hope the other countries will not encourage to ban altcoins as well because it will be affected the cryptocurrency world Sad

bitcoin will dump hard after some hours

It already dumped some 12 hours ago. Wasn't that hard, just close to $4000 and was quick.

Not slow and low enough to cause panic

Remember we had been at $1800 on 7/16/2017. There is another view from the other angle at the price action last 8 weeks.

Imagine those dips had not been margin attacks, trying to short but instead been failures to artificially hoover the price above $4000 for making the chinese exit. Reeking in enough money (for electricity, new Asics) until the elections are done and kapitalists could talk to communists again on a sane level. The "bann" has merely been political because of Xi Jinping's reelections taking place at 10/18/2017 and should be reversible if some money changes pockets.

China is not banning crypto yet, China is banning ICO and going to regulate exchanger. Korea is also going to banned ICO, maybe the price is going to drop a little, but all users are ready to face this, actually ICO not giving a big influence to Bitcoin and other strong alt coins
Hope it can't be affect a lot.. Since its just an ICO and let me ask how did you know that thing and where is your source..

Even they are banning bitcoin and i think they can be stay holding them if those who are holding bitcoin in china they can be still sell them not in  their country and they can sell it other exchanged and received it in real usd to their country..

Hope they can survive and it will gonna affect only small. because many people are afraid even is just a small the price could be drop burst because of panic selling.

It is only natural for BTC to dropped its price as for other crypto-currencies will be affected for it, naturally speaking the value of BTC is very volatile, it is also natural that we should worry about the price of it constantly.

Hi all,

Are we expecting a drop in price since China is going to ban crytpo by end of this month?

Some of the drop may already be built in to the current price of Bitcoin. However, if China really does come out with an official policy banning Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it will most likely still have an affect. China is such a huge market that you would expect any negative news from them to affect the price.

I still think that even if there is a ban, Chinese citizens will continue to find ways to hold and invest in Bitcoins and maybe even mine it. And I also would not be surprised if the Chinese government invests in Bitcoin and still mined Bitcoins for their own profit.

Just a little correction but we should not feel panic due to the little dump for bitcoin, and that was an impact caused by the korean news about to ban the icos in the future. Because i got it from some reliable sources.

The drop in price because of all that China thing had occurred, and Bitcoin has already recovered from that and it has hit $4,220 after all that once again. So i don't think we should expect any other price drops right now, except for the usual routine of bitcoin which is to keep fluctuating.

since China is going to ban crytpo by end of this month?

ICO does not mean crypto and they are banning ICOs

You should read some news @pooya87, because it is not just ICOs they are banning, but all the crypto currency exchanges are being banned by China by the end of this month.

I think the price will not drop below the bitcoin $4000 again. the Chinese sold will have others buy into, not afraid

If you're so confident in the market to not drop below the $4000 level again, why don't you buy as many coins as possible? There is barely any real buy support around the $4000 level, and if we take the regular volatility in consideration, it will likely dip below $4000 again in the coming few days. Another important aspect we don't need to forget is the hard fork that is planned to happen in November. This market can change in an instant from bullish to bearish, and vice versa -- so don't start counting your profits already....

Well the price is at $4230 at the moment, and it is more high than yesterday (ath from yesteday was $4200) so i guess that it is slowly rising, but it is not dropping at the moment, so i really expect bitcoin to rise at least to 4500 before october. But we need to hear china news first, they will decide the trends for bitcoins, if we hear bad news, then probably we will see bitcoin dropping below $4000

Hi all,

Are we expecting a drop in price since China is going to ban crytpo by end of this month?

Obviously its already end of the end and nothing significant happens to the price. It is still going strong and trading right now at $4100-$4200. But the price drop did happen in the second-third week of the month but we have recovered already so you don't have to worry more about any China news affecting the market price.

another example of someone who is way too late to the party!

the "dropping" is already over. we are $1200 above the price that dropped because of China. you can not expect the same reason to have the same effect multiple times just because you are late. the rest of the world were not late and they did all their panics and their sells and buys and FOMOs in the previous weeks and now things are back to normal

until next FUD comes along. try not to be late for that one.

Yeah, he is already too late to join the party and miss the opportunity to buy it when the price is quite cheap. So to the OP, please be advised that you need to be ready when bitcoin will have a "buying party" and don't you forgot to have your funds ready, just in case.  Cheesy

Could be about the 2x part of Segwit2x, or Bitcoin Cash hashrate moves. The first would be timeable since it has a specific date on it.
Another theory watches this ""dropping" is already over" as a bulltrap. Ask Loops about going short.

Hi all,

Are we expecting a drop in price since China is going to ban crytpo by end of this month?

As of the moment, bitcoin value is slowly rising up. I think bitcoins are not affected with China banning ICO's. Maybe Altcons are shacking now because of the China banning ICO's. I'm excepting bitcoins will hit 5k by the end of October (Hopefully). Maybe bitcoins will drop less but for sure I will bloom more than what you think. I decided to buy a few bitcoins and see what will happen with my experiment.

I can't call it slot but the movements are fair since it gain more price for just even a week of being stayed at 3000$ and now it is getting back again for 4000$ price and this one will be more great on next following days it will touch to 5000$ and that will be one of the fastest growth happened on the history.
The price moves at present is a form of stability gain. Same as that the price staggering within limits within $4000 now too it makes a move between $4000 - $4300 for a short time period. This will once again move further reaching. $4500 and in this manner gradual growth happens until large scale price pumping.

Everyone know bitcoin value is always dropping but it do'sent mean bitcoin is always in the low price but most of the time bitcoin value is always rising. We all knows bitcoin value is always moving and bitcoin is unpredictable. Just stay calm and wait what happen next for bitcoin.

Why bitcoin value should dropping, it has tendency to fluctuate the price always you should not fear about it and you should hold the bitcoin for a month atleast, before that it's value will be recovered any adoption implemented on bitcoin. As we see many adoption from Europe and Japan regions we are much safe about the price.

Although china forbids crypto currency in their market it seems that bitcoin price will not decrease. as there is now increasing market demand for bitcoin, although there is a ban in countries like China that have a large market for bitcoin will not affect the bitcoin price.

Most of the Chinese people has already reacted to the news and they did what was necessary to protect their wealth. They also found ways to bypass the ban on Bitcoin exchanges and are trading on the Black markets now. Bitcoin is digital, so you can still trade on informal Black markets, when it is banned.

Governments are always the losers in events like this. Example : Prohibition in the United States was a nationwide constitutional ban on the production, importation, transportation, and sale of alcoholic beverages that remained in place from 1920 to 1933. < The direct result? ---> People turned to Black markets and the government lost taxes on all the booze that were sold illegally >

Now Bitcoin is global and people can trade on global Black markets. < DarkNet >

The dilemma is already ended the value of bitcoin starting to pump again and I think china did not affect much the pricing of bitcoin besides I don't think majority of bitcoin owners and users are in china so we better not worry and just focus on earning bitcoin while the value is increasing. The more earnings we get the more chances to become financially independent in the future.

I think the correction is over. So we are going to rise again soon. I see the price drops a bit and i think it's nothing to do with China. Bitcoin ban in China is not new to us. (....)

coindesk.com has thrown out another article presenting rumors (mostly) from deputy finance minister of Russia just yesterday. That could be the 10.000x time of russian rumors, again. But markets do react on that. Rumors along banning any payments.
In the last minutes of china money having to flee their tradesites BTCs will be capable of traveling in ten minutes, so first choice. And supply onsite nearly beeing dried out, so that last china day will likely present a green candle on all charts.
Almost no-trade-territory, neither for margin nor for new longs.

No it’s not because of China,It’s unlikely that the same precise pattern will repeat itself, mostly because the ecosystem of startups and services surrounding cryptocurrency is vastly more robust now than it was four years ago. But a vital lesson still holds: cryptocurrency prices are volatile because very few speculators actually understand the technology or its potential, leaving it vulnerable to reactive, emotion-driven swings.

That's why i think they have nothing to do with this small dump. Maybe there are just whales who just dump their bitcoins. The drop is not that huge though. Compare from recent crash which cause bitcoin to drop at $2900. So i think theres nothing to worry. Actually it's a perfect opportunity to buy since it drop a couple of hundred dollars.

Hi all, Are we expecting a drop in price since China is going to ban crytpo by end of this month?

China is expected to finally and officially ban Bitcoin exchanges as well as the holding of ICOs all throughout China but this is already old news...the impact was felt almost two weeks ago and the market has already moved somewhere else absorbing some little good news from other countries and that is why the value of Bitcoin is now back at the $4,200 level and maybe crawling slowly into the $4,500 mark. Good thing that China right now is not influencing Hong Kong to also adopt its decision as we know that Hong Kong is technically a part of the mainland China though its administration is held separately.

Exactly, I think there are far too many newcomers who simply equate ICO and Crypto 1:1 and do not differentiate between the two. Cryptos have been with us for close to 10 years and ICO's are a more recent phenomenon.

Unfortunately since most ICO are riding on the backs of Crypto, when many of them eventually fail or turn out to be little more than outright scams, it will leave another black stain on the entire Crypto community as well.

No, the price drop that you are seeing is not about China. If you have been here for too long, you may see a price drop every weekends because people normally cash out because most of them you out for vacation and needed additional cash. No worries, during last week as well there is a minimal drop but comes Monday, it has recovered pushing the price to $4200 this week. So I advise you not to panic and forget all about China. They are already history. Let move forward in October without mentioning about them.

no we no longer expect any price drop because of China.
the news is already priced in. now it is time for rise. any other drop can only be because of new FUD/news not something that has been over-used.
