Yes pretty much all Altcoins are garbage some more then others but when the coin has less then $5000 in volume and it's been around for a year its obviously a garbage coin.

Thanks for providing these insights. I feel so much more informed now.  Kiss

Goldcoin 24 hour volume is $1000 please stop spreading your goldcoin garbage around here.

Aren't you the one that said that all altcoins pretty much suck?

I guess I should just invest in Dogecoin and Blackcoin based on your argument that volume is good.  Tongue

The coin is nearly a year old and has an excellent developer and community.

How exactly is it a scam?

Do you see any major threats in the near future regarding the Litecoin minning with powerfull machines? Is there any other better minning approach for an investment around $10k?

Litecoin's internal difficulty adjustment will always marginalize profitability.

ASCI does not pose any threat to Litecoin or other altcoins, it only presents a threat to small miners using GPU farms as their shares will be minimized.

If you want to invest $10K in mining equipment, I would suggest mining an ASCI resistant coin like Goldcoin (GLD) and then to mine and hold the coins for a couple of years. While your mining help out in the community and contribute to the coin's success.

That's what decentralized currencies are all about.  Smiley

When using calculators like this: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/litecoin/calculator, seems like, with the actual parameters, there is no short/middle term profitability in Bitcoin minning, even using powerfull 2-3TH machines, the next logic step is to try with litecoins using the new 250MHs machines comming soon to the market.

Thanks for any insight you might share!
