do you trying to use jaxx or mycelium for your wallet in your android phone? and for your desktop, i think you can use bitcoin core or multi bit. i can give you this suggestion because i am using that software too and i think it works fine for me.

I think "Bitcoin Wallet" should fulfill my requirements.

It doesn't require any centralized external server. So I will try that wallet.

as a beginner in the world of bitcoins, I was wondering if there is an easy way to run a independent wallet. My Google searches didn't bring any sufficient answer for me so far.
At the moment I have a wallet on Electrum. But I don't want to rely on external services. I could install a full node blockchain on my desktop. But then for every transaction I would have to go to my PC.
But i want to use my phone, too.
So is there an easy way to have access to my wall via phone?
