Hypothetical scenario: A theoretical reality show called "Bitcoin Wars" invites you to compete to see who can earn the most Bitcoin over the course of a summer. How would you react?

This is too vague. What are the rules to earn Bitcoin? Can you just buy them? (which then the richest will win). Or will everyone start at 0 and will be opening their own business (sort of what Donald Trump had done?)

Yeah. I don't like this specific idea but a reality show where the winner is paid in bitcoin could be good promo. You could have some sort of The Apprentice style show or maybe just a regular game show.

Is this like some type of take on the Apprentice?

Like get Team A and Team B to collaborate with their ideas, pool resources, and raise enough BTC with their selected campaigns offering a product or service, and see who comes out on top?

Sounds good, maybe Dorian can play the "Donald Trump" figure.  "YOU'RE FIRED!"

I would just transfer bitcoin to myself and win it Wink

But you'd have to show how you earned that Bitcoin.

Hell yeah! That would be awesome!
You'd probably need to get a group of people together of different professions, like athletes, skilled traders and the like.
That would make for a great reality show!

The drug dealers will win hands down.

Satoshi is on our side, we will win.

You are supposed to 'earn' bitcoins during this period.
So that is no advantage.

I would sign up only if it was some kind of bloodsport / mortal kombat style fight to the death.

I could probably work that in just to keep things from getting boring.

Well, those that are already wealthy have endless things to sell for tons of money.
The already wealthy always win unless you set straight rules.

Yeah, but are they good at playing "American Pickers" to find things that they can sell for Bitcoin? New rule: You can't sell things you already own.

The idea is not to buy them, but to EARN them. You can start your own business, or you can try earning them by selling junk around your house or doing jobs for people. It's up to you to decide what the winning strategy is without buying them.
