Dont worry. Bitcoin will always stay in the top because it is the oldest and the most secure cryptocurrency. The price of BCH rapidly increased in first weeks because it was extremely promoted on social media as the coin of the future but now we can see that the price started to fall with over 20% in a few days.
This new coins that appear every month are helping bitcoin because by promoting themselves people will also find bitcoin and people will see that bitcoin has more advantages so they will invest in it wich will increase the price

I doubt it in some moment, but i always knew that bitcoin was never going to be defeated by this group, so i am relax about all this thing.
It is going to go up again soon, the price is moving by a quiet way and i am sure that we are going to be touching a new all time high in some weeks, maybe days, because a lot of people are now interested in buying tons of bitcoins right now that the price is very cheap.
Bitcoin cash is going to die, but i am sure that it is going to do a new pump before it drops below $1000.

I think btc Is always on top, because most of the countries business flatform are implement this bitcoin as a mode of payment even theres a lot of problems behind this, bitcoin is very popular and has a high demand, so I think bitcoin is always on top of all crypto currency and the altcoins are just an option to be implement if theres no choice..

Totally agree, BTC will be on top in any case, imo. Also, it became something like a brand of whole crypto industry and nowadays there are more people that know what is BTC, than people who knows what blockchain is.

Let me know what your thinking?

You might want to move this thread to the speculation section. It seems like you're asking more about the price than anything else.

In my opinion, I think bitcoin has a strong future coming up in 2018 due to the support of crypto coming out from larger tech companies and the expansion of blockchain technology. Earlier this month, amazon was found purchasing some crypto domains, which I believe boosted the price back then too. However, once they actually implement some form of payments as cyrptocurrencies, there will be a flood of support from other companies as well to keep up with competition.

Oki dok...BTC will be top dog despite all these other garbage coins trying to get in the way. Anything a few "bitcoin" can provide bitcoin can most probably add on to it as a feature anyhow making any new coins obsolete. It

does seem scary at times but I think these other coins are only distractions and a way to squeeze more BTC out of the economy. Scummy and shady yes, but I believe nothing to fret on the real BTC front.

Can't vote but I can't find a good alternative. BTC will always be on top? Maybe not,, I think there will be a competitor that will make him go to second place during certain times, then it will come back and keep fighting for the top cryptocoin spot. BCH isn't the future in my opinion, I also don't believe that a great coin will come from a fork. And who knows, if China decides to make a coin with the right policies they may be big but still not enough to be the definitive top 1.
