If we reach that point, it is very likely that the value of bitcoin in terms of dollars will become irrelevant people will begin to set their prices on bitcoin, after all if the US dollar is in such a bad shape then it will not make any sense to keep trying to price things in dollars also at that point the debt of the United States will be a lot higher than that

I am not expecting to see a valuation like that, a million dollar for a single coins is a lot of money, i really cannot understand how things will work if the price goes to those valuation, what will be the transaction fees, it wont be a small price even with a few satoshi. I am looking forward to the valuation that we could reach in a couple of years and then we will dream for insane amounts.

even if Bitcoin rises to 20,000 dollars, then for many investors and traders it will be a huge happiness, especially if you consider that they invested in Bitcoin at $ 15,000. Today we see a complete drop in the market, although for some people there is an opportunity to earn on the difference in price.

While Bitcoin is still in the bear trend and lots of investors are worried about their assets and the future of BTC, this type of post make me and other investors feel more optimistic and confidence. I myself think if 1 BTC can reach 100k then it can reach 500k+. This is just speculation and only time will tell us if it's correct. I have put all my life savings in crypto currencies and I'm ready to face with challenges ahead.

great predictions, everyone is free to guess the price of bitcoin in the next year, although the prediction you mentioned in 2030 could reach $ 1,000,000 it is your optimistic nature of the bitcoin value so that it is certain that in the future bitcoin prices will increase sharply. but no one can predict the exact value of bitcoin in the future because the value of bitcoin is very fluctuating.

You really got my attention and I opened the thread because of the way it was captured. I believe that a day is coming were we would have to see the relevant of this post and identify with the reality in it. I have thought it to be around 2026.

We don't know whether there is a possibility or not with the present situation of the market the expectation of Bitcoin price is really disgusting. You are expecting too much amount but i don't thin so whether it will reach $1,000,000. It is not possible anymore.

I remember reading some threads back then on how some users thought $15 was too much for the value of bitcoin and makes no sense. Here we are battling with 2018 low at $5900. I wish it could be possible for us all to see the future, but unfortunately....

We can't never know. Once we reach $1,000,000 the confidence in Bitcoin will be supreme, after having defeated all previous limits, so it may be actually a risk to sell since it may keep going higher long term or best case scenario find some sort of balance due the big marketcap lowering volatility %, so it will be an attractive place to keep your wealth at vs pretty much anything else.

Same thing happened with $10,000, a lot of people sold and missed the gains up to $20,000. Hell a lot of people started selling at $3000 expecting a crash similar MtGox or the one we have seen recently, so never count on "round numbers means crash".

Well $1mio in 12+ years is a pretty big stretch imo, but it is possible if we take into account that 80% of the coins are already distributed and until 2030 another 3 halvings will have happened with a block reward cutted down to 1,5625 BTC.
Falling back to 6 figures after that is more than likely as a million buck per coin will be a very strong barrier to break. After the rejection it could take another decade to make a double top and then maybe breaking through it.
Until then the question will be how low the 6 figures will be after the 1million rejection. Bitcoin won't that much volatile anymore in that time, so we could see a value of 500k+ per coin.
But again... it is possible to reach those highs, but is imo a very very optimistic outlook, which of course all of the super bullhorns here are having ind mind I would guess.
Imagine how much the world would change when suddenly, some of the BTC OGs like Trace Mayer and some of the developers become the richest people on this planet!
This will not happen without strong resistance by the incumbents of the actual financial and political system.

But I am also waiting for that year and I am not expecting that too high. Average high amount of bitcoin is enough for me, as long as I don't lose some of my bitcoin. Grin

You must be kidding here. Bitcoin will never reach $1M because that is an enormous value even if only 1000 bitcoins would be available on the earth. I dont think bitcoin is so priceless that it could worth that much and the price is also very volatile so that market would fluctuate a lot then and people would either lose a lot of money or make a lot of profit. We are talking here about $1M in todays money because in the future 1,000,000$ could be considered only 10.000$ of today's money and bitcoin value would be the same as today.

I'm not sure bitcoin will reach the value of 1 billion dollars by 2030 although in 2012 there are predicting bitcoin value reaches 12K and damn right dude bitcoin has reached 12K even more than that 21K bitcoin has achieved great value, and then some say bitcoin will exceed 45K in 2025 and it's still a question mark. I'm sure bitcoin will reach 100K only by 2030 Grin

Back in the days $100, $1000, $10,000 looked outrageous too, and look what we have achieved in such a short period of time. It all depends on the time frame we're in, and if it continues in the same way more or less, which I am sure of it will, then $50,000 will be how we look at $500 right now. I like to read back through older threads where people hype each other up to sell at $200 because it was the top on that moment, and that makes me feel good because it makes you understand and see how much growth we have gone through.
