Hi all,

Unfortunately, yes.
The project was abandoned for reasons beyond our control.
Now it's alive again and we are planning to maintain and develop it actively and issue release notes on a timely basis.

Stay in touch!

It would be better to publish a proper announcement for this e.g. create an article, post in any of your SNS (if you have one) so that if people search if your site is dead or not, something will show up in google and also for the purpose that you need to market it again.

Hello again,

Please pardon my ignorance. I tried both apps, Mycelium for smartphone and Electrium for windows. So I entered my 12 word phrase and in each case I get a new account not the account I see in the online wallet.
Is there any specific procedure I need to follow. Could it be that the online wallet uses different variables paths to generate the accounts?

Thanks again.
You didn't seen your bitcoin address when you are use the 12 word phrase in electrum wallet?
If ever you are not getting your real bitcoin address you use from bitcoinchain i think looks like you scam in that site honestly never heard this site before and i am not using online wallet except for coinbase and xapo before..
For now i think better to contact the support of the site to fix your issue other than that i think its impossible to get your bitcoin address since you already import your 12 word seeds in electrum.

try to make this alive from their official thread of bitcoinchain https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.13814140

Make scam accusation if ever you never get recover your bitcoin from their wallet. .So that other people too are aware about the site..

Hi all,

I'm new here and new to bitcoin world altogether and I want to mention my recent experience with this website: bitcoinchain.com

I opened an online wallet on it and I started test mining for couple of days on my current gaming hardware before investing in a new rig. So I got my payment in bitcoin and to my surprise the wallet wasn't updating the amount even after 24 hours.

Of course I was able to find the deposit on blockchain.info against my address. I tried finding the wallets private key but there isn't any hint of it on the wallet's web interface. I do have a 12 word passphrase and I'm able to access the wallet.
If you go to the blockchain explorer on bitcoinchain.com you'll find that the latest blockchain date was on 04/30/2017. How can people abandon their website like this?

Am I doing something wrong? does my description make any sense?
I really do not know how their mining platform works, but based on what I saw on the platform. It is a website that is being run with other services attached like watching the market, getting links to bitcoin investment sites and others too.

It isn’t a dead one, I think all it was started for was just to monitor the stats of the bitcoin market, its User interface seems nice, your issue about withdrawal is what I don’t know much about, that is why it is good to research before investing money.

It's my first time to hear this website and upon searching it's a bitcoin explorer and a wallet. So now if you indeed have the 12-word recovery phrase then all I can suggest is make a new wallet in mycelium for mobile, blockchain.info wallet (not totally recommended) or electrum for desktop. Once you made a new wallet on the 3 mentioned wallet then import your 12 recovery seed there, and sweep all your funds to your new wallet.
Why you have to sweep all your funds there? because there's a big chance that this wallet is centralized and a big chance that they have also a copy of your recovery seed on their database.

Yes. If you still have the 12 word passphrase from your wallet, you should install "mycelium wallet", or "electrum wallet" and import the seed there.

It indeed seems like their site stopped working, they're stuck on block 464185.
If you haven't already moved your wallet out, i would do it as soon as possible, and create another, and sent the funds to that one of which you are sure isn't shared with any 3rd party, since this site may also know your seed, since you are telling us you created your wallet there, right?
