why don't you just use irc and with a bot you can pull in the hashtag?
The idea is to expose Bitcoin to people's followers. It's sort of a ripple effect. If it gets big enough we might be able to hit the trending topics. (But that's months down the line.)Good luck!

Bitcoin Chat is a twitter chat centered around Bitcoin! All questions and answers will have the hashtag #BitcoinChat to allow others to follow the discussion. I hope plenty of notable Bitcoiners will join in and allow for some clarifications about Bitcoin and the events happening in Bitcoin. @Coinabul will be the host and moderator. They will moderate and ask questions to keep the discussion going.
