This is alarming but for everyone, not only binance users for all who uses third party exchange. Anything happens anytime where you don't have control over your assets.
I was alarmed about binance when they keep holding my deposit for no reason and they hold the amounts several time without providing any specific reason. The assets were released after 3 days of holding. That was my last transaction with Binance.
