We've added a G+ profile linking for users to link their G+ page to their bitcoinhub profile.  We plan on implementing it for Bitcoinhub groups as well so the group can add there respective G+ group badge to the Bitcoinhub group.  We are also working on adding Twitter and Facebook badges adding for users on their bitcoinhub profile or Bitcoinhub group.
This way we can better position ourself as a hub for bitcoin users and groups of the three major social networks.  So as to be a better place for bitcoin users and groups who want to increase there contacts and/or identity online.

This looks more like a blog on first sight than a social network, because of all the wasted space.

Doesn't mean you can't have whitespace or anything, but it looks like you threw a 'social network' plugin on a wordpress theme and called it a day...

I don't think Bitcoin needs any social networks right now, it just needs some good technical analysis of Bitcoin. Right now we have a ton of blogs that just report bitcoin in the news or things that happen in the community. There are more interesting ideas to develop right now.

I'm currently involved in starting this project - http://bitcoinhub.org/ .  We aim to be a bitcoin social network and hub for bitcoin information but are far from finished and are looking for private investment to help with things like advertising and possibly a free Nexus 7 to one of the first 2,000 members.  Another thing we are looking at is rewarding users who post the most links from the site and bring the most hits and users who post the most best rated content with actual shares in project on BTC.CO (or something similar).  Or offering the winners to swap the shares entitlement for bitcoin raffle tickets.  Anway there is a lot more work to be done on the project until we're finished but please sign up and test it out any feedback appreciated  Smiley

This looks great!  Grin

A bit like the subreddit ?

We are aiming to offer a lot more features to users and groups on Bitcoinhub.org then the bitcoin subreddit offers.
