Shame on everything; regret nothing.

Now Bitcoinica supports email notifications for order executions, non-instant deposits (Bitcoins and wires) and withdrawals.

forced liquidations get an e-mail as well?

does the subject line say: "You've Been ZhouTonged!"

Lol.  you should also add that to a pop up window!

+1, haha, totally.  I would still use Bitcoinica.
For real though, the addition of notifications is an excellent improvement... It should save me a lot of time.

I love you for including the "Reply to this email" part. You should never use a noreply email for automated emails.

Agreed! Left me pleasantly surprised as well. Good job, Zhoutong!

OMG Z is goin short!  Wink

Seriously tho, thanks for the feature.

One question: do you have plans to make option to edit orders? Cos now one needs to cancel and create new.

There are three ways of editing orders:

- Directing to another page: it's painfully slow. Rejected.
- Modal window: it's still slower than canceling and place again. Rejected.
- In-place editing: it causes user errors easily. Rejected.

I don't think it's a necessary feature to have. So there's no plans for that. :-/

I have a simple solution for that: Just add/substract new orders from previous orders. So when I have a limit buy @ 4 for 100 BTC I can:

-Place another limit buy @ 4 for 10BTC causing the order to show 110 BTC limit buy @ 4
-Place a limit sell @ 4 for 10BTC causing the order to show 90 BTC limit buy @ 4
-Place another order altogether, causing the window to show 2 separate orders.

The wait is over. Now Bitcoinica supports email notifications for order executions, non-instant deposits (Bitcoins and wires) and withdrawals.

Simply click "Notify" on an order to enable notification for order execution!

In the future, we will implement notifications for margin calls and "forgot password".

We hope you like this little new feature!
