Yep, I discovered legit pooled mining awhile back and have since joined Slush's pool (after doing my homework).

Thanks all.  Yeah, I just found a thread about them on the shitlist Sad.  My java is fine, BTW but that was a good point.  Guess I'd rather kiss my measly BTC.0005 or whatever it is goodbye than invest more time into a site that has had a questionable run at best.

Just be happy you did not spend "real" money to get that money. Look around there are pllleeenty of pools out there listed here.

Simply do not use that website. It's certainly faster to mine with your GPU in almost all cases and I haven't found strong evidence this site does pay its members for their work.

Advice? Quit while you're ahead. This site has been proven in the past to not payout.

Just wondering if anybody has a clue what's going on with the http://www.bitcoinplus.com generating site.  I realize that it's not a truly viable way to pool mine, but I started using it when I first heard about BTC and I do have a small balance, which I would eventually like to get up to enough for a one time withdrawal.

Problem (for me at least) is, the site is up with no notifications or postings about there being issues.  The script loads fine and I'm able to click on "generate" - but my rate has gone from meh to OMG-I'll-Never-Get-Another-Payout-Slow.  (Last time I tried loading it, the 'estimated time' for a payout was over fifty hours.  WTF, right?  And that's not just on my main computer; I've tried it on my old desktop and had a couple people try on theirs.

No response from the guy who runs the site, and the only support option is an email address (which I obviously tried).

Is it the end of the world? No, but it's irritating and I was just curious... thoughts, anyone?  Thanks.
