I don't recommend moving a wallet from Bitcoin core to MultiBit by moving the private keys.
Bitcoin core creates new change addresses in batches of 100 so, once you run out of your current set, the two wallets will diverge.

You're safer simply sending the bitcoin from one wallet to another.

Hi,
I wanted to move from BitCoinQT client to MultiBit. So here is what i did

1: Iimported the BitCoinwallet to BlockChain Info
2: downloaded backup of wallet from BlockChain Info
3: Created new wallet in MultiBit
4: Followed Instruction on BlockChain Info and imported private keys in Multibit & let it sync with network
5: Created a new receive address in Multibit and send coins from Blockchain Info to this new address in Multibit.

Now the main questions are:

1: How can i transfer recieve address from BitCoinQT client to Multibit?
2: Because i have quite a few entries in receiving address, When i create a new receive address, How do i know which new address multibit has created for me?

TIA

Iru
