I'd say if you have cheap or free power, then mine. It will take awhile for you to get a decent amount of coins, but it will come w/ a profit. Fastest way is to buy from an exchange site or an exchanger.

If you want bitcoins, you buy them. Mining isn't exactly profitable these days. And it makes sense, it if is, then more people would start mining! Especially since mining isn't a get rich quick scheme.

You should be able to just buy some bitcoins and watch the BTC to USD rate rise, which means in terms of USD you are making money.

coool! thats what i thought, cpu is prety slow from what i have heard?

what would it cost to set up a mining set up that ure talking about?and is it profitible?
It's not pretty slow - it's practically not feasible. Mining a month 24/7 using the CPU might net you a couple of pennies, or next to nothing. On the FPGA and ASIC topic, please do a search around and read some stuff up. It's not that profitable like what you might think of.

CPU mine? BUY!
Mining for bitcoins isn't worth it unless you have an ASIC or power-sipping FPGA.
