In fact, there may be several reasons or explanations for this. It would be nice if you showed a screenshot or a link to the transaction to discuss your problem together. These actions will not hurt you and your money.

If you can tell me how to post a screenshot i'll do that for you

bul206, your problem is in very old version of Electrum wallet which have problem with synchronization and because of that you see your balance as 0. You get good advices to solve your problem, but to make it even easier for you just follow this steps :

- write down your seed (secret words)  - go to Wallet - Seed and if you have set password type it to get seed.
- visit https://electrum.org/#download and download latest version for your operating system.

After that you will have latest version of Electrum, just open it and let it sync - you should see your balance updated.

You should take a few precautions (post #3 in that thread) and then update electrum. What you are seeing is a bug in older versions of the software. Also in future  ask electrum related questions in the electrum subforum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=98.0

It's not very clear what you mean. Can you post a screenshot (without private information).

The wallet was having trouble synchronizing and i had to update the version i was using to 2.9.3 from 2.7.3. Now that i have done that it still hasn't come through and showing my funds are in my wallet.
You are using a very old (and vulnerable) wallet. The latest version is Electrum 3.2.2.
Why did you "update" to another old version? When downloading, make sure to use the official website only.

How do i add a screen shot?
Just to confirm, is the wallet synchronizing? If not, can you try to change the server? Press the little green bubble on the bottom right and uncheck select server automatically and right click any of the servers and click use as server. Go back to your wallet screen and check if it has synchronized.

You can upload the picture to imgur and link it here.

If the balance in your wallet electrum is still O it means that bitcoin you sent in bit bargain hasn't been sent to your electrum wallet, (but I don't understand what you mean by 0+ is that mean after the number 0 there is a number again? Like 0.0002 for instance).

Agreed on this idea

By way of that, someone in this forum can provide a detailed explanation of your case.

So on my transaction history, under the column of 'Amount' it says +0 and the my balance is 0, whereas all previous transactions have + and then a number corresponding to the bitcoin amount that i transferred in to my wallet. The wallet was having trouble synchronizing and i had to update the version i was using to 2.9.3 from 2.7.3. Now that i have done that it still hasn't come through and showing my funds are in my wallet.
How do i add a screen shot?
