With a budget of 500€ i would say "two ATI 5830" are an option for you, or higher Models if you can get them for a good price.

Also an option were an FPGA from Ztex with 800m/hs for around 650€ iirc. But iam not sure if they ship these model atm. (Remmeber that it takes a long time to get the money back in)
