I feel a little stupid now, had bitcoin for yonks but haven't run it recently so it hasn't caught up.

- Whitelist Bitcoin client on firewall
- Forward the bitcoin ports on your router
- wait for the blockchain to finish downloading
You need to wait until the block count in the lower-right corner of the Bitcoin client reaches the current block count. Right now that is 149866 (source).
I don't seem to be able to received bitcoins, I've installed the software and tried to get some free through the bitcoin faucet but none have arrived its been over 5 hours since I tried.
I run windows 7, anyone have any suggestions?
