Like other users did on their reply the transaction has been confirmed and completed alreadt but the problem here is all about the recepient digital wallet. We cannot assess if he had successfully make a balance transaction after the funds was been sent.

Probably the recepient had some kind of confusions in bitcoin transactions. I myself had too confused in this technologt but it could be learn though.

Try to ask the recepient if he has some problem in his wallet or something. It was checked already in blockchain that transaction has been process and are good already.

that will be an interesting follow-up question. but more then likely, the receiver already spent that money. because if you will look at the address as provided by the receiver (it seems that after receiving the btc, he sent it to another address). i dont think the receiver was being honest here. just my impression.

unless, he is using a fraudulent web wallet (which possibly he has no idea) and the owner of that site already sent it to their btc address. [but then again, not your fault]

@OP, you have proof that your tx went thru. as HCP said, "the blockchain doesn't lie"
 hopefully the OP didnt send any of his identification cards as it is really not necessary. high likely that the receiver is lying for whatever reason.

Then those coins were definitely sent and confirmed... the blockchain doesn't lie!

The issue is at the recipient's end with their "wallet". Do you know if they were receiving coins to their own personal wallet? or if it was being sent to an exchange, website or web wallet of some kind?

It seems your transaction already got 2,811 confirmation. Most exchanges just require 6 confirmations to add balance in the account. Means, where have you sent, the funds should be credited to your account if it's on a website. If sent to the person then the fund has been credited his account as well and he had spent as well.

Most likely someone scammed you or you have sent funds into a scam website. Can you please share more details where you had sent the funds? ( of course, if you don't have privacy issues). So we may be aware of the scam if really he scammed you.

Yes either that or it was an address that belonged to an exchange or something.

The transaction was sent around 2 weeks ago and already confirmed as well.

If you sent about $32 then yes I think so?

The input to that transaction had around $5000 so they could be hoping you send it again and don't care...

It looks to have confirmed 2-3 weeks ago also?

1. Yes
2. Not really (he's either scamming you or he has some sort of virus that changed the address he copied, both of which would be his problem).
3. No the ID should be all that is needed.

Can you post the transaction ID here so we can check it's definitely confirmed?. If you're not comfortable doing that, click the transaction ID in blockchain.com and send us something about the block (either the hash or the height) that it was included in.

sorry for maybe asking stupid questions, but I spent some time looking for an answer to my problem, but really couldn't find any clear answer.

I have made a transaction that has been confirmed to have been successfully carried out. The recipient however claims, he did not receive any funds at the respective address. I have obviously double checked several times whether the address and amount match the details that where provided. They do.

Now he wants me to provide a transaction ID to find out what has happened. From my basic understanding the transaction ID is the "transaction hash" and can be looked up at eg. blockchain.com. From here I can see the funds have been sent to this address and I can see a red ball behind this transaction. From what I further understand, this means effectively the funds have been transferred successfully.

Now my three questions are:
1. Is my assumption right that the transaction ID is the transaction hash? If not, what exactly is the transaction ID?
2. Is there any possibility then that his claim can be true in this case and he did not receive the money after all?
3. Do I reveal any additional (personal) data when providing him with this "transaction ID"? I guess not, but I am afraid this might be a fraud after all...

Sorry, maybe this should be posted in the newbie section, apologies if this is the case.
