All you are seeiy on custodial wallet and exchange accounts are not actually coins, they are just numbers representing the coins but not actually coins.
The numbers represent coins that you don't have access to. Only the custodial service has and you deposited them in one of their wallets.

Unlike while using reputable noncustododial wallets, it is your coin on blockchain, only one confirmation is needed.
Good wallets will show you incoming unconfirmed transactions as well. As soon as the transaction is broadcasted by the sender, your balance should be updated with an explanation that the transaction is still unconfirmed and is waiting to be mined.

The site takes 2 confirmations and I've never had an issue previously or had it taking so long before.
This can happen at anytime while using custodial wallet or custodial exchanges, it has happened to me before. The site takes 2 confirmations and I've never had an issue previously or had it taking so long before. I've contacted support on the site to see if they can see this as a pending transaction as my receiving address is correct, very strange

Hi all, issue was with the site I was sending to but the mods helped and I have them now.
Thanks everyone for your help Smiley

Thank you all. The address I sent the coins to is my own and have PGP confirmation of this. The site is not phishing it's the legit one I have made sure to double check. The transaction has 5 confirmation on electrum so I'll check the site again once it's reached over 6 to see if this was the issue
If it is a site that is providing custodial services, some of the sites may not accept less than 10 confirmation transaction, check the ToS of the site to know the minimum confirmation needed for a transaction to be confirmed. If not yet seen after the minimum confirmation, you will have to contact their customer support. Also, make sure you check the address, making sure it is not a wrong address before contacting their customer support. If it is a wrong address, the transaction can not be reversed.

https://merel.mobi => buy facemasks with BTC/LTC
Have you looked at the transaction on a blockexplorer (like blockchair)?
If the transaction exists + is confirmed (sufficient confirmations) => you either used the wrong address or there's a problem with the reciever
If the transaction doesn't exist => it could be an electrum problem (or a problem with your pc/network)

How do I contact electrum support to look into this?

If you are certainly sure that the destination address is exactly the same as the one generated by the website, you should contact their support instead. They might be experiencing some kind of technical problem or you might have sent the coins to a wrong address, which usually happens due to some clipboard malware.

It must be a technical issue with the site you sent the funds to. You should contact their support instead.

It's worth mentioning that some services require a certain amount of confirmations before crediting the bitcoin, so if your transaction has less than 6 confirmations, that could be the reason.

I sent bitcoins from my electrum wallet to my address on a site. I have confirmed the address and details, and the transaction is confirmed on my electrum wallet, but not appearing on the site I sent them to.
